Well behind every snowmobiling picture, there is a great story to go with it.

It all started on a winter day, don't ask me what day, I can't remember. Well I posted a trail report at a snowmobiling website.

I guess it was about a week later that i got a e-mail back from this dude Rodney (from Ohio) asking me if i could keep him posted on the trail conditions in Timmins, If you know anything about Ohio and you know where Timmins is, you'd know that it is like a 13 hour drive between the two.

Rodney explained to me that last year when they (Rodney's buddies) came up to timmins there was no snow. (that would piss me off too) well up here in the middle of nowhere we normally have lots of snow, till around the biggining of april, but last winter, (2000) we lost all our snow in febuary, it really sucked ass!

Anyways Rodney and I kept in touch for the next month and when Rodney and Friends came up to Timmins we met up and went out for a ride, I showed them the local places to goof around. We went out to Lake Kanogamissi (or however you spell it) and had the best lunch. we had rice, barittos, chicken wigns, soup, bread, pizza and alot of other stuff, we were stuffed.

after that we rode back to Timmins, about a one hour ride. when we got back I took the guys to a fav powder spot. It has snowed a week ago and the snow was so deep (see pic below) well most of us got stuck.... those who tried, The 2 big kitty cats didn't even dare to challege the rath of the deep snow,The snow was up to our chests. after we worked our asses off, we went to my house, 2 km ride, At my house I went off my ramp a couple times and we used the facilities. we sorta just chilled out there and sat in the sun.

Then we took off and flew to the run way on porqupine lake. (a big ice strech 1/4 mile) we draged a bit, some lost, some won, ski-doo prevaled. as we were about to leave to go puddle jumping a cat broke down! so we went to a garage to see if we could get it fixed. no luck there, the cats wetn home while the Doo's went to puddle jump, Rodney, Jeff, Travis and "gramps" went to the river to see what puddle jumping was all about, i showed em, they tryed it and loved it.

it was then time to go, we split apart and later met up at the Snowcross event that I had enterd. they watched, fixed my sled, i placed second and we all had a great time. the last time I saw them was when they helped my load my sled after the race.

so that is really the short version of the story. I can't tell it all! yep lots of Strip Clubs and Beer for them... well they had the strippers. (next year i'm comin too) ohhh ya I forgot one thing. The following are all the guys who came up to Timmins and what they rode. Rodney- 2000 Formula deluxe 700, Myself- 1996 Formula S (gettin a new sled), Jeff- MZX 600 Travis- MXZ-700. "Gramps"-1998 Formula duluxe 500, Bogger- 1998 zr 600, sorry don't remember your names 1... Thundercat, ! Thundercat
