| Kamehameha: Possibly the most commonly used, as well as the most famous technique. It took Master Roshi 50yrs to perfect it. It is a blast that is charged with arms coiled back. Then it is shot when the hands, going verticlally, move forward. Master Roshi, Yamcha, and others use this move. I even heard Tien can use it. |

| Solar Flare (Taiyoken): A move developed by Tien. Both hands go over the face and the user lights up and blinds his opponent. Many people have used it, Tien, Goku, Krillin, and Cell. |

| Tribeam (Kikoho): Tien's most powerful blast. The hands are place together to form a triangle. The user concentrates enough energy and then rains it down on his opponent. The Tribeam can be extremely damaging if used too much. Later Tien creates the Shinkikoho or New Tribeam. |

| Wolf Fang Fist (Rogafufuken): Yamcha prepares himself in a special stance and then attacks with claw-like punches and kicks. After training with Master Roshi, Yamcha improves his technique (Shin Rogafufuken).. |
| Energy Bomb (Soukidan): A round ki ball shot from the palm of the hand. The attack can be guided by the user's hands. (Soukidan actually translates to Spirit Bomb, while Genki Dama translates to Energy Ball). |
| Chonoryoku: A unique technique that Chiaotzu uses. He puts both hands, or a single hand, and can manipulat the body movements of his opponent to an extent; he can't do it if his opponent is too powerful. He can stop someone or even cause internal pain. |
| Self-detonation (Jibaku): The ability to explode yourself. Chiaotzu uses this against Nappa; however it kills Chiaotzu and not the Saiyan. |

| Multiform Technique/ 12 Eyes (Me no 12/ Shishin no Ken): This technique splits one person into four. Each body has a quarter of the power of the original being. Tien originated it, hence the 12 (3 eyes x 4 bodies). Cell also uses it to try and beat Goku. |

| Four Witches Technique (Shiyoken): A technique that sprouts an extra pair of arms from the back and shoulders. Tien uses this attack. |

| After Image (One Pattern): A technique first used by Jackie Chun. Someone moves so fast it leaves an after image, confusing the opponent. |
| Kiai: This technique is used by yelling really loud. It disperses weaker ki attacks. Tien used it. |
| Volleyball Technique (Haikyuken): A technique Tien used against Goku in the 22nd World Tournament. Tien treats his opponent like a volley ball and hits him around volleyball style. |
