The Holistic Approach in Education
The human being is one, complete, unique, and interactive entity. So,
if we dealt with this entity
Wait-Time: The brain is processing information in a period of time, therefor, we have to respect this nature when teaching others. Moreover, if you aim to maintain the Three-Story-Intellict model of learning, trying to reach your student the highest level of intellect, that is to meta-cognitively reflect what they learned, evaluate, predict, and apply to new situation (recontextualize information); you will need to give them another chance to " process", deep think, and practice some type of Intrapersonal Intelligence. Enriched Environment: Nothing in this world work alone, with no give-and-take interaction with the environment around. The concept of Enriched Environment is an exact understanding of this fact. Enriched Environment is in its direct meaning to have everything around in the learning place helping you in your instructional mission, from the nervous system stimulation perspective. In the classroom, you may be using different colors of chalk, different objects, photos, maps, video, slide show, or even a multimedia presentation on a computer screen to present information to students. These all are stimuli that deal with sight, hearing, feeling senses. Some teachers may find it very helpful to have their curricula immersed into students' minds by using aides that are to be smelled or tasted. Sitting a Barin-compatible Climate When we talk about "sitting climate " for the brain to work on its highest
performance, we talk about this intrinsic relationship. That mean we care
about the Emotional side of the intelligence to work and show up.
