Stumpcricket was established in 1999 and has become a very popular game ever since. It has been widely enjoyed by adults and children. Any body can play stumpcricket no matter their age, fitness ability or knoledge of the game.
Stumpcricket originated from using a stump with a cricket grip on it, but as the game developed the equipmant has become more advanced and the bat has now been made more like a baseball bat but a bit wider.
Stumpcricket was invented mainly by William Gamble and his brother Alex Gamble in a small village in Rutland, England called Wardely.
