She calls out to the man on the street
“Sir can you help me?”
It’s cold and I’have  nowhere to sleep
Is  there somewhere  you can tell me?

He walks on, doesn’t look  back
He pretens he cant hear her
Starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems emberrassed to be there

She’s got blisters  on the sales of her feet
Can’t walk but she is trying

You can see that she’s been there
Probably been moved on from every place
Caz she didn’t fit in there
Oh think twice......


This study contains four activities which are prepared for the prep class students

ACTIVITY 1


In the first activity , before listening the music, I will write the title of the lyrics on the board “Another day in paradise” and I ask students if they have listened it before.Then  I ask some questions obout it. For exaple,
what does the title remind them, what is the story about?, which words do they expect to hear from the song.... Then I will write what they have said on the board.For example,they can say

It is a love story
It reminds happiness, paradise, or sins ect..

Then we listen the music and check what they have said.

ACTIVITY 2

In the second activity, I motivate my student focus on the usage of verbs with third person singular (s/es)

ACTIVITY 3
In this activity, I want to reinforce students’ knowledge about
“Simple present tense”.in general.  So I give a part of the lyrics with some blanks and I ask students to listen carefully and fill in the blanks properly.I make students listen two times then I want them to change their worksheets with their friends.Then each students will check their friends answer while I am reading.

At the end we will check them together..

ACTIVITY 4

In this activity ,I cut the lyrics in to four paragraphs and I change the place of  sentences.Then I divide students in four groups and I ask students to put paragraphs in order then I play the song and check each groups’ aswers

PARAGRAPH 2

He can see she is crying
