      TIME: 90 MINUTES
      UNIT:15 CAUSATIVES
      LEVEL:INTERMEDIATE
      MATERIAL:PICTURES,BOARD, TEXTBOOK
      GOAL: TO TEACH THE USE OF CAUSATIVE VERBS IN PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE TO MAKE THEM ACQUIRE THE CAUSATIVE                        VERBS LIKE HAVE ,GET, LET,  MAKE
      OBJECTIVES:TO BE ABLE TO USE CAUSATIVE VERBS IN PRESENT SIMPLE  TENSE  GETTING THE USE OF  GET, HAVE, LET                         MAKE...
   

PRE-TEACHING:(10 MINUTES)

                  Like every usual beginning,the teacher enters the class.The daily talk starts ...What they did at the weekend,was it a good weekend,how they feel now...  Then i will ask them some questions as an introduction to the subject of the day like:

*Can you tell me what kind of things your parents want you to do?
*Although tou don'tlike ,what you have to do?
*Do they say you ''Wash your hands, tidy your room, etc.''

   After a short conversation,it is time to start with first activity...

    
WHILE -TEACHING:

  
FIRST ACTIVITY:
      Before the lesson,i prepared 5 different pictures related with the subject.After i make them coloured,i put them in an order. Then i hang them
on the board according to their numbers. In first picture ,there is a girl and a boy.The wedding day is coming and after they hired ahouse ,they have to start with painting the house.But they are too busy ;they have to want someone to paint it.Behind there is a man painting the house...
       In second picture, a man wants to iron his clothes .Behind him there is a man ironing...
       In third picture ,thereis a woman and a man behind him with scessors and a comb.As it is understood,she wants to cut her hair.
       In fourth picture, a man is at the dentist's.Aman is puuling out his tooth.
       In fifth one, the woman who is fed up with houseworks,wants her husband to clean the windows...
    
      Since I do not want to give the subject directly,i want ss to thinkand imagine what is happening in the pictures.My question will be:
      What are these people doing?

      
SECOND ACTIVITY:(15 minutes)
       Iwant them to take a piece of paper and to write them about what parents should or should not do according to them.This can include 5 sentences.Iwant them to read what they wrote  and i am going to write similar answers...  According to their answers ,i wil make a chart.
EX:Parents should let their children  play actively everyday.
      Parents should let their children   go to bed at 11:00 .

     Iam going to ask themwhether they have a grammatical structure  to tell this in a diferent way in our language.Iwill start to talk about the subject
of the day.

       
ACTIVITY 3:(15 MINUTES)
        I plan to see their capability  of using causatives  in sentences I will give them a chart  and ask what the basic responsibilities of a government  and the people it governs .
For each statement of causer , doer, action listed and want them to chose appropirate causative  that expres their opinion.

ACTIVITY 4:(10 MINUTES)
     My third activity will be a fill in the blanks activity.I aim to check
whether they can use causatives in appropirate sentences.

2)Imust (my glasses /mend ) They keep falling off
3)I___________(FOUR NEW TYRES /FIT)  on my car.
4)My neighbours are ________________(an extension /build)onto their house at the moment.


    
EXTRA ACTIVITY:(15 MINUTES)
      The last activity will be a writing activity .It is aimed to evaluate their capability to make exact and corect sentences with causatives.Iwill give them a subject .
Ex:If you were a leader of the country ,what things would you change?
   What laws would you estabish?
   What things would you not allow them to do ?

     POST-TEACHING:(10 MINUTES)

      All these activity wil provide me to see the average of ss'understanding the activity.By the help of themý will give some details and rewiev  about some parts  that is not understood.Since ý want them to get this subject completely ,Iwill them some exercises ý prepared before.It contains some 'finding mistakes 'exercises,writing a paragraph related with any subject.

 
    EVALUATION:
       Class 1 is nearly good at using causatives; but  the only problem is using of 'TO' with  verbs. Ss can not distinguish which verbs are used with 'to'.
  Iwill give them some exercises to get them the suject completely...
