Goals:Students will learn Future Tense(will,won't)
Objectives:Students will be able to make sentences with Future Tense
                  Students will be able to know affirmative,negative and question forms of Future Tense.

                   I greet and warm up.

                       PRE-TEACHING
   I tell students "I will read a passage about Jack and his mother."Then I began to read.

                 _ Lead In Activity(10 min)_
"There is a boy whose name is Jack.Jack always argue with his mother.His mother always ask:
   _When do you do your homework?Jack answered:
   _Oh,I will do it tomorrow!
   _What about your bed?It is still in a mess!Mother asked.
   _Oh,I will get tidy tomorrow!answered Jack.
   Again mother asked:
   _You have an exam at school tomorrow!You do not revision yet!
   _Ok.Mum,I will do it.
   _What about the essay you have to do for school!
   _Mum I will do it tomorrow!Ok!Jack answered.
     Everyday they have this kind of coversations.Jack always promise and say"I will do it tomorrow!"but he never does it on time.

WHILE TEACHING
      _Activity 1-(10 min)

       I drow some pictures.(A boy who is going to school,studentsin the class,a student who is studying,a student who is going to cinema and a student who is lying in a bed). Ipick up these pictures on the board and let them see these
pictures.Every pictures ofter I show them,I say and write the full sentence of what he is doing.

       He will go to the school tomorrow.
     He will listen to his teacher tomorrow.
     He will go to his home tomorrow.
     He will study lesson after school tomorrow.
     He will go to the cinema with his frend tomorrow.
     He will sleep at 22:00 tomorrow.

   _Activity 2_(7 min)

      I ask students "what will you do tomorrow?" and showing the examples from the board,I want them to make at least 3 sentences and write them on their notebooks.I let some of them to say their own
sentences and write theirs on board.

    _Activity 3_(7 min)

    I want students to work in pair.One of them ask any invitation to the other. For ex;"I will go to the library tomorrow.What about you?" The other answer"I will go to there too."

    _Activity 4_(11 min)

    I copied a conversation and I devide the all students as 4 or 5 group. I want them to read and then I choose some of then to read the text as a role-play.

     Aylin and Pelin met on the street.
     Aylin:Pelin! I am so happy to see you!
     Pelin:It is great to see you, too.What are you doing?
     Aylin:We made a new house near the post office and we are planning all details.
    Pelin:Oh!I see.Tell me how is your house? Furnitures, rooms,etc. You know.
    Aylin:Oh! It will have two floors.The first floor will have the kitchen,dining room,living room,bathroom.The three bedrooms will be on the second floor.May be the second bathroom on the second floor.
    Pelin:You will have in enough place to live
    Aylin:Yes I am very happy because we don't like our old house.
    Pelin: I hope you will like the new one.
    Aylin:Thanks. I hope you will visit me in my new home.
    Pelin:I want it, too.See you.
    Aylin:Good bye!

   _Activity 5_(In second lesson-10 min)

     I show the same pictures again and I made the sentences negative.I say and write the sentences on the board.I write two types of negative forms(will not
and won't).I say sentences below to examplify.
_It will not rain tomorrow.
_We won't go to cinema tomorrow.

_Activity 6_(7 min)

    I want students to write some negative sentences about Future Tense and let them to say and write on the board.

_Activity 7_(7 min)

   I ask students:"Will you come to school tomorrow?
"Tomorrow is weekend.So they answer "No,we won't come to the school." I ask; "Will you buy a new skirt?"
,"Will he go fishing tomorrow?" So the students recognize the question form of Future Tense.

    _Activity 8_(8 min)

    I write sentences to match.
* It is Seda's birthday tomorrow.
              _She will tidy it after work.
*The room is in a mess.
                   _I will go to bed early tonight.
*I am tired.
                            _I will have a walk around.
*It is a beautiful day.
                       _She will be 22 years old.

     _Activity 9_(8 min)

I write 6 sentences on the board and I want students to rewrite the sentences with the short form.I do first one as an example.

_I will wait for you.
_I'll wait for you.

*He will not fly to Ankara tomorrow.
*He won't .........

*She will retire next month.
*She'll ...........

*They will not forget this party.
*They won't .............

*It will snow this morning.
*It'll ............

*Tunç will not go swimming tomorrow.
*Tunç won't ..............

         POST TEACHING ( 5 min )
          I ask students if there is anything unclear. If they ask, I explain again.I want them to write what they will do tomorrow and write them with Future Tense as a homework.
