Goals:Students will gain the usage of past tense of "some regular verbs"with
negative,affirmative and interrogative sentence forms.
Objectives:By the end of the lesson,students will be able to express the
past events and actions,and make sentences in past tense.

         PROCEDURE
PRE-TEACHING(10 minutes):

Lead-In Activity:
   I give some general activities as Simple Present Tense,by writing sentences on the board.Then,I write "yesterday" which refers to Simple Past Tense, then I write some sentence samples with affirmative,negative and interrogative forms.After giving regular verbs I want from students to give
examples with them.

WHILE-TEACHING
Activity 1-(7 minutes)
   I make a recall of previous lesson with an interaction of Present Continuous Tense.I go near door and say"I am opening the door."Then,I leave from door and 3 minutes later say,"I opened the door."In other words,I tell it with demonstration.Later two of students practise it with door and window and other objects.Also,this includes all types of sentence structures of this tense.First,"I"ask myself a question,"I"make a negative one then want it from students.

Activity 2-(5 minutes)
   I want from students to find affirmative,negative and interrogative Simple Past Tense sentences from the story I wrote on board.They go one by one to the board and underline the sentences.

Activity 3(15 minutes)
   I make three groups then I choose students as the number of word-flashcards that I prepared.Flashcards include partial three sentences;one-affirmative,one-negative and one-interrogative.But sentences are not in their order.They study and later they go in front of class by holding right parts of cards.So,they can learn word order in that tense.
   Three flashcards include these sentences:
-She did not study her lesson last night.
-Nick played football yesterday.
-Did Mary work in garden yesterday morning?

Activity 4(10 minutes)
   I give a dialogue to class as copies.I want them to fill in the blanks with right forms of verbs in Simple Past Tense.Then I want from two couples of students to read the dialogue in the completed shape as a practice.

Activity 5(5 minutes)
   I say some"regular verbs"then want Simple Past forms from students.These
are verbs that I will use:
   -finish   -watch   -clean   -open   -close
   -stay     -listen  -rain    -play   -visit
   -start    -work    -wonder

NOTE:They are the verbs they learned in that course.

Activity 6(8 minutes)
   I write five sentences on the board and want from students to match"True"or"False"(T/F)near sentences.
1-They played football last week.
2-You didn't finished your homework.
3-I listens to music last night.
4-Last month,it rained much.
5-My little brother didn't finish his milk.
*Then I give the right answers.

POST-TEACHING

Activity 1(15 minutes)
   I write a complicated passage on board.I want them to choose"Simple Past Tense Sentences"from these complex sentences then put the sentences in an order and make a story on their notebooks.Then I check the papers.
-He usually watches his favourite tv program.
-Last night,he didn't watch tv.
-Did he help to his mother?
-His father comes home late.
-He helped his mother first.
-After he helped his mother,he studied his lesson.
-He usually gets up early.
-he finished his works late.

Activity 2(15 minutes)
   I make a chain-practice in class between me and students among themselves.Sentence chosal is upto them.
T:(to student A)I cooked a cake yesterday.What did you do?
StA:(to the teacher)I played football on weekend.Did you study your
lesson?(to student B)
StB:No,I didn't study my lesson.I listened to music.What did you do on

Sunday?(to student C)
*Sentences should include -affirmative-negative and interrogative forms.
