Welcome to American Royalty!  We are thrilled to have you as an IQ Queen!  An IQ Queen is a state or local queen for our American Royalty Pageant - just as if you had competed in person in a land based pageant.  Your title carries all the prestige & advantages afforded to our land based pageant queens & IQ queens have the opportunity to compete for 2 National titles with us!!! You compete against other IQ queens for the IQ national titles & you are eligible to also compete in our land based American Royalty Scholarship pageant, in North Carolina,  in June.

Rules: * Dress nicely & be well groomed when making appearances. No ripped jeans, provocative clothing  etc. *To be awarded points for appearances you must send in pictures of appearances, copies of grade transcripts, letters to verify volunteer service from an official involved in the community service, total of hours spent on community service & copies of any media exposure you had. * National IQ queen winners will be announced on-line on Jan 15, 2003. Lastday to submit points: Jan 1, 2003.  The national winners will be the queens with the highest point totals for their divisions: ie: State queen, State princess, or City princess.All points must be verified before they will be posted.  All points not verified by Jan 1, 2003 will be deleted.

POINTS: you win points by *making personal appearances: 5 points per appearance. This includes speaking engagements, entertaining, parades, pageant appearances, etc. *Getting good grades in school: 5 points for each A on a report card. 50 bonus points for perfect attendance for a semester at school (or 6 months perfect attendance at a place of work for older queens).  Queens under 5 may receive the 50 bonus points for perfect attendance at Sunday School. * Doing volunteer work.  5 points for each hour of volunteer work done by queen. (parents may assist queens under age 15). 15 bonus points for each time you participate in a "walk-a-thon" for a cause 15 bonus points for each time you volunteer in a soup kitchen for the homeless 100 bonus points if you donate 25 Christmas gifts to your local orphange at Christmas time. 100 bonus points if you donate 25 store bought Easter baskets to your local orphanage or YMCA inner-city outreach program, at Easter. All volunteer work must be done between Jan1, 2002 & Jan 1 2003.  All work must be verified with a photo of queen doing the work in her crown & banner & by a letter from an official with the organization you helped, stating how many hours you served & that you did in fact do the work listed. *Media Exposure: 5 points for each time you get your picture in your crown & banner published in a pageant magazine or a newspaper.  The caption must state your name &  IQ title. 100 bonus points for creating & maintaining a website of your title.  You must send us the URL for your site & keep it active for the whole year. 50 bonus points if you take out a spotlight page in a magazine. 200 bonus points if you are interviewed (for a positive piece - NO talkshows please) on TV.  Must send in  videotape of interview.

Bonus points: * 500 bonus points if you compete in our American Royalty Pageant National Finals in NC in june. *100 bonus points for having your official PROFESSIONAL portrait made in your crown & banner & send it into the office. 25 extra bonus points if you do this in the first 3 weeks after you receive your crown & banner. *100 bonus points each time you meet an elected official. ie: mayor, congressman, governor etc.
