Review

*Special thanks to Katie and A.J. for these days!*

We had row F tickets for the second show, pretty much right in front of Al. These seats were much closer than I expected. I got to see Karen and Angie again, plus meet Blasted Bill.

We had to wait for fireworks to get over with before anything else could start. We had the same opening act, but he had a couple of different jokes this time, so it wasn't all that bad, and finally came time for Al to come out again!

I definitely love those bubbles during the Angry White Boy Polka since I could finally poke at them and touch the bubbles this time as they went out into the audience.

He went through A Complicated Song again, but Dog Eat Dog was missing from this set list. :( Oh well. At least I got one show with that wonderful big, white floppy suit.

Al went into the audience again for Wanna B Ur Lovr. I just loooove that song live. It's so amusing, especially since the rest of the band has scarves on too.

Oh yeah, I can't forgot how funny it is during Smells Like Nirvana that Al will sing, "And I forgot the next verse" and then he acts like he actually forgot the next verse so the audience will sing it for him. I love that. Al threw two cups of water again, and we almost got wet, but it just missed us. Drat.

I remember during Amish Paradise, while everyone else was waving their arms to it, Al stopped singing for a moment and tried to encourage a lady in the front row to wave her arms too.

The rest of the concert went the same, though it's amusing to see Steve stop playing, pull his hood over his head during The Saga Begins. Did I mention I just love that new part of the Yoda Chant? I need to memorize that!

We all gathered together in front of the stage after the second show for a STUPID picture. :) Moonbeam went to go talk to Steve and were told where to go wait since workers wanted us out of there. Drat. So we all waited and just as Moonbeam went somewhere quick, Steve came out. I was too amazed to go up for an autograph or anything. Argh. Shame on me. Oh well.

After Steve went back in, we all decided it was time to leave. We were suppose to find A.J. parked somewhere on the street near where he was before. We had circled around a few times, not finding him. So we tried the interstate back to his house on our own. No luck, we got lost, so we took I-80 back to his house with the instructions we had from when we first went there. It was only about 2:30am by the time we were all back at his house.

We watched a bit of stuff on the TV, including a Talking Heads DVD since it shows a lot of stuff you recognize from Dog Eat Dog. Very nice. Megan and Moonbeam finally came back too and I got my Amish hat from Moonbeam and a tape from MegBob. Yay! About 3am or a bit after, we all decided it was time to sleep or attempt to. I think I got about 3-4 hours of sleep again.

We all got up in the morning, talked, and we took pictures again of our little group. :) Yay. About 11:30am, I guess, we hugged A.J. bye and left. Pretty uneventful, except when we stopped off for gas in Illinois, and just got on to the interstate again, it started to pouring rain. We could barely see the car in front of us. We were going to pull over, but we just ended up going much slower on the interstate. Plus, a lot of cars were pulled over to the side anyway. We got through the storm, still encountering bits of rain in Iowa here and there and that could be the only eventful thing driving through Iowa. Iowa is just so boring to drive through! We got back to my house with no trouble at all and we showed Katie and Ian back to the interstate to go back to their house. :) I hope they had no trouble getting home.

It was just so nice of them to pick me up in Kansas City and drop me off right at home. Thanks, Katie and Ian!
