Inaugural Functions of the Pain and Palliative Care Centre

By the grace of God and  the intercession of St. Vincent De Paul, we inaugurated the  Pain and Palliative Care Centre  on I^st June 2001 at 4 p.m. Sri. K.B. Ganesh Kumar, Hon. Transport Minister of Kerala inaugurated the function.  Sri. Roy John (Secretary of Mananthavady Rotary Club) welcomed all and Sri. A.K. Mathew (President of Mananthavady Rotary Club) presided the inaugural meeting. Rtn. C.M. Abubacker P.H.M., (Director Rotary District 3200) introduced the project clearly in his speech. The Hon. Minister congratulated all those who take the decision to start the project in his inaugural address. Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Pothanamuzhy (Bishop of Mananthavady) handed over the Rotary Jeep to the project and he blessed all programmes of the project. Inauguration of the project office was done by Mrs. Radha Raghavan M.L.A. (North Malabar Assembly Member) and opening of the new Pain and Palliative CareCentre was held by Sri K.L. Poulose (President Jilla Panchayath, Wayanad.

Ravi (Deputy Manager of State Bank), Dr. Anil Thomas(Director, Bharath Cancer Institute, Mysore) Mrs. Sharadha Sajeevan (President, Mananthavady Garama Panchayat), Smt. Maimoona (Mananthavady Grama Panchayat member), were given felicitations. 

Sr. Seraphine SCV (Administrator, St. Vicent Hospital, Mananthavady expressed vote of thanks and the meeting were finished after National Anthem.
