The society of Pilar 
The society of Pilar was founded in the year 1887 with her Mother house located at Pilar in Goa, India. The society has managed to spread her branches to various parts of India like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai, Ranchi, Bhopal not forgetting the lesser known places like Nagaland and Andaman Nicobar Islands.
The members of the society of Pilar dedicate themselves to the cause of spreading the message of God's love and peace. The society of Pilar has succeeded in making God's love real by setting up various need based institutions like schools, Technical Colleges,
dispensaries and so on. Besides launching out in the field of education the society has to her credit many orphanages and charitable institutions set for the poor and marginalized in the remote villages. St. Xavier's High School, Sirsa is one of the many institutions run by the Society of Pilar. It was founded in the year 1974. The school is affiliated to the council for Indian School Certificate .Examination Board New Delhi. Its aim is to impart sound Moral Intellectual Physical and Cultural education without discrimination to enable its pupils to blossom into worthy and proud citizens of our country.
