Further Seems Forever could never be celebrated for being unique, or particularly groundbreaking for that matter. But I enjoy the music either way. The musicianship and lyrics are awesome and the vocals are faultless (ahh, it's all Chris). This is heartfelt rock, and a must for anyone who likes music that makes you feel something. But you really have to listen to it a few times before you start feel the flow of the record, and then it grows on you. The downside to this cd, is that practically all the songs are in 6/8 and 3/4 time, making the sound kind of repetative. This might not be a big deal to other listeners, but it bothers the hell out of me. You'll either love it or hate it, but it's worth a listen to find out.
