Skin Care
Skin care is a must for great skin. If you have already read the getting great skin, you will know that it is very important. Skin care isnt that hard once you get the hang of it. I have a routine that I follow, maybe it will help you out.
1. Make sure you wash your face three times a day, this means morning, afternoon, and night. I like to do this when I wake up, after I get home from school, and before I go to bed. If your wearing makeup, then its ok to do it twice a day, so you wont have to reapply it.
2. If your face is dry, use moisturizer. The kind I use is Clean & Clear Oil-free Dual Action Moisturizer. Its not expensive(only $3 or $4) and it works good. Dont use it everyday, or your skin will become oily. I dont wanna say use it two or three times a week because its different for everybody. Some people may not even need to use moisturizer. Just use it when your skin starts getting dry. I dont need to use it very often because my skin isnt dry or oily.
3. Use sunscreen! This is an absolute must!!! Even if your just going outside for a few hours or even just 30 minutes, its doing damage to your skin, even if you dont get sun burnt. You dont wanna end up with skin cancer do you? Well thats what I thought, use sunscreen!!
4. Dont use tanning booths. I know alot of you probably do, but being a few shades darker, and in the future, maybe getting sun cancer or looking old faster, to me, isnt worth all that. So I use self-tanners or go to those spray on booths. You gotta know how to apply it right but if you do, it looks natural. You also cant get a cheap brand, they really look orange. If your gonna use self-tanner, go for somethin atleast like Neutrogena. Its about $8 or $9.
5. Finally, be nice to your skin, and it will be nice to you. I'm not talking about dont cuss it out or dont be mean to it, lol, I mean dont use tons of makeup, alittle bit goes along way with makeup. Natural beauty is more beautiful than tons of caked on makeup. Usually, guys prefer natural beauty, they dont wanna see you w/ no makeup on and you look like a different person!
