| Life is certainly different in Florida. During the summer it is very hot and very humid, so you live your life dashing from one air-conditioned environment to another: car-store-mall-house… After that, the weather is quite nice. I live in my Dad’s house in a gated community of about 1900 homes called Island Walk. My mother lives in an identical house a few blocks away I arrived in March of last year, worked on a low-budget movie called "Pose Down" in April & May, and then went to work for Wachovia Bank. They assigned me to the small branch at the Island Walk town centre, so I walk to and from work every day, except when it's raining in the morning. If it's raining in the afternoon, I just get wet, because after work I change into shorts & a t-shirt and walk over to the community gym, work out, then walk home. Except for the months from November to February, the afternoon rains are warm. |
