Water is a special material regarding photographing.
Both long and short time exposures shows
it in an unusual form.
This picture belongs to both the
night and the water theme. It was taken in the Rosen Garten, Mannheim,
Germany in around August,1998.
It is a 2 minutes shot of a continuously
changing waterworks.
These are bright summer day pictures of
a waterworks in Paradeplatz, Mannheim, Germany.
At bright daylight there is enough light
to take 1/1000 sec pictures. In so short time the water looks like as it
were frozen. Ice needles and flying glass balls are appearing in the picture.
This is in less light, where the diaphragm
was set to be bigger, loosing dept-in-field.
It's an other example of sacrificing the
depth-in-field when there is no light enough.
This is a ca. 1.5 cm water certain.
One quick jump back to Gödöllõ in Hungary. I have
taken this when I was waiting for Edina(1).
The wavig water with a long time exlosure brings out an interesting
surface.
The colors are interesting as well.
