Flickering Shadows
At the centre of the night,
with the Lady shining bright,
Gowned only by the sky,
where the trees all reach high,
The scent of sage circles me,
Flicking light in the dark I see,
Dampening Ground around me,
with the taste of the sea,
Here I happily sing and shout,
happily chant and dance about,
East to South, West to North,
like a clock moving forth,
little fires all around,
centemetres above the ground,
just tiny flickers of light,
wrapped in shadows,
but I am happy.
