Touch So Cold 2 - Part Three
My sensors overwhelmed and crazed,
Steering down at this dull light,
hearing only silence from this forsaken night.
As we entered, the town was dead,
workers home, resting their heads,
We crept with silence, we moved with speed,
we hid in the shadows, controlling our need.
I could hear a cart, on the cobble stone,
The silence broke, the night now not alone,
we hid in an ally, hearing the horses feet,
as it came closer, I could hear its heart beat,
I could smell the man, and his horse,
they travelled alone, unaware of their soon altered course,
The horse stopped, and rose in fear,
"he can sense, the danger in the air."
My attacker spoke, then out from the shadows we ran,
he shouted, "I'll kill the horse, you capture the man."
I grabbed the man, then to the shadows we returned,
I could feel his heat, his pulse, it made my stomach burn,
Then my attacker rose his head, then angled in upon his throat,
I saw some blood leave his lips, flowing like a moat,
He glanced at me, then lifted the mans hand,
I knew what to do, my brain said no, but my hunger didn’t understand,
I bit his wrist, with my teeth,
without removing my lips, I withdrew my teeth, from the skin which it was beneath.
A scream was made, at a pitch so high,
my attacker just let out a frusterated sigh,
he dropped the man, and said we have been seen,
from a window saw, I saw a young lady lean.
Now its time for us to flee,
I could hear people walking, heading towards me,
yet they had not left their doors,
The sound so loud, the screach of a hinges,
even from the brothel, out came the whores,
Just before we disappeared, he looks at me, blood on his chin, RUN! his face cringes...
