Lament
Raising up, Unearthed again,
Eternal Slumber, Eternal Pain,
Pointing Steer, Sarcastic ask,
Night not alone, under my mask
Senses overwhelmed, beautiful beat,
I connect, I deplete,
the drum slowing, I let go,
Red on white, brand new flow,
Cold to warm, then I flee,
Misunderstood, Fear chasing me,
Damned they say, the devils cement,
my pain, my life,
my death, my strife,
Now you've heard, my lament...

Touch So Cold
Happiness, Love, fill of glee,
in the dark, my back was turned,
I felt something grab, a hold of me,
The venom injected, my vains all burned,

Weakened I fell, nothing to hold,
Drained I felt, but could not move,
Attacker pale, with a touch so cold,
made to drink, the pain would soothe,

Tighting, Tensing, my body shook,
Drums beating, burning chest,
Drums slowing, I could look,
Awoken I was, but I need rest,

People resting, their work finished,
Silence and calm, all around,
We were seen, my calm diminished,
Running and Hiding, never to be found,

I'm condemned, a box so small,
The only place, I belong,
I'm condemned, only night fall,
in my box, I've slept so long.

Walking in 2004 - Part One
Walking home, Darkened Street,
Dim lights, quite heart beat,
Three approaching, from behind,
Unafraid, yet mortally blind,
Evil gaze, then a yell;
"give us your shit, you fucken freak!"

Under my dark hood, my eyes looked up with hell,
raising my head, eyes locked on, but did not speak,
a gun pointed at my head, Cold and grey,
Mortal eyes unaware, I grab his hand and push the gun away,
With an unhuman scream, I grab his throat,
Hissing, bearing my teeth, the black blur of my coat,
My nails against his arteries, I clench a fist,
Red stains on his shirt, the sent of blood, a beautiful mist,

His friends, they fled,
Scared, when he bleed,
There backs to me, running away,
I could feel their panic, and could hear them say...

Walking in 2004 - Part Two
His friends, they fled,
Scared when he bleed,
There backs to me, running away,
I could feel their panic, and could her them say,
In a whisper, their voices low,
"God... Please help us... Please."

I could hear their hearts, feel their mortal flow,
I couldn’t let them flee, their racing hearts were such a tease,
Mortal eyes unaware, I was now in front, us three all facing,
They stop and stumble, two young adult hearts racing,
I step forward, one falls down the other goes to flee,
I step beside him, his mind in shock, eyes glued to me,
out of my coat, my bloody hand was beared,
fingers extended, then his blood was shed,
Pouring from his throat, like vomit from a mouth,
he fell to his knees, losing himself,
His heart beat slowing, the drains turned red,
his head falling in the pool of blood, within moments he was dead.

I could feel dread and pain,
sliding along-side the drain,
Beat still going, the hunger in me,
by now he knew his destiny...

Walking in 2004 - Part Three
I could feel dread and pain,
sliding along-side the drain,
Beat still going, the hunger in me,
by now he knew his destiny,
His fear crying at me, "why?"
Then he said; "Please let me be."

My dim shadow cast under the light, now you die,
I grab him around the neck, and went where no one could see,
The bush was wet, the lights we dull, perfect for his end,
I held him under then chin, whispering; "This is it my friend."
I removed my hood, my teeth shining in weak street light,
he couldn’t move, over powered, he could not fight,
My mouth opened wide, bearing my teeth, he tried to scream,
then I drain him off life, his mind went into a dream,

My flesh, warm from cold,
Youthful pleasure, eternally old,
the hunger for-filled, skin blushed,
Walking again, streets hushed,
Dead bodies, two on the street,
Dead bodies, one in the bush...

Real Love
The sun is departing, from the sky,
as the moon, starts to raise up high,
Darkness begins, closing in,
Out of our Biers, we rise from within,
We raise up quick, as does our need,
lest we perish, we live to feed,

Bound Eternally, my companion and I,
In the dark, our victims die,
We walk through time, hand and hand,
Travelling and feeding, from land to land,
I can’t explain, how I feel,
but I can tell, when love is real...

Freed
For the sun, it does burn,
lest we flee, and we turn,
Unless we hide in the dark,
or the shadows of the day,
For a ray, must never lay,
upon us, we the damned,
or our bodies, they'll be grey,
and no longer closely crammed,
We will spread, with the wind,
Our ashes slowly thinned,
no longer to walk this land,
Freed from the grip of eternity's hand.
For the sun, it does burn,
lest we flee, and we turn,
Unless we hide in the shadows of the day...
For the sun, it does burn,
lest we flee, and we turn,
Unless we hide in the dark of the night...

An Eye for An Eye
I remember that day, all to well,
I remember when the world was like hell,
It was November, on the 7th day,
I had just arrived in America by ship,
Alton, Illinois, was where I would stay,
I went to the tavern, but didn’t drink a sip,
A man was shot, the tavern owner said,
He fought strong, now may he rest his head,

From my stool I arose, asking who,
the owners face was pale, eyes crystal blue,
I frightened him, when I spoke,
but I insisted, I did not Joke,
He spoke the location and name of the man,
I left in and instant, no need for a plan,
He was in his home, his family slept,
so in his door, I slowly crept,

I covered his mouth, and dragged him out,
He tried to fight, tried to scream, tried to shout,
I bent his head to the side, exposing his neck,
I feed on his life, right on his front deck,
I dropped his limp body, it fell without sound,
I slid away into the dark, never to be found;
May the shot man rest, may he find his spot in heaven,
for I will never forget that night, in 1837.

Tonight
The moon is full, the stars are bright,
another victims, within my sight,
I hear people, left and right,
which one of them, will die tonight.

Touch So Cold 2 - Part One
Happy Birthday, I said raising my glass,
Thinking of all the fun of the past,
a close friend of mine, a man at that time,
he turned 19, a young man in his prime.

We drunk with family, and the closest of friends,
yet not 'til drunk, for I had some walking,
I planned to leave, before the nights end,
We all were sitting, laughing and talking.

I left around midnight, to arrive home at one,
My journey was long, and my feet weighed a tone,
I could see my house, through the darkened trees,
I arrived on the step, I reached for my keys,
I felt someone grab, a hold of me,
I couldn’t turn, or move to see,
I tried to fight, but he was stronger than I,
His hands were cold, I asked would I die,
He grabbed my head, then forced it on a lean,
I would have screamed, but no one would have saw screen,
I felt a sharp pain, followed by burning,
My body was numb, even when I tried turning.

Everything faded, faded to black,
time went by, then I awoke to find,
My body still numb, and me on my back,
my vision was blurred, with the dark I was blind.

Drink or die, the pain will soothe,
I tilted my head, as much as I could move,
I wrapped my lips, around his pale wrist,
not knowing it was hell on earth, which I just kissed...

Touch So Cold 2 - Part Two
My hands rose up, a new strength in me,
grabbing his arm, my fingers wouldn't let him free,
My eyes widened, he tried to shake me loose,
but I was tight to his wrist, like a noose.
As I drunk, my thoughts depleted,
I could feel and hear his heart as it beated,
My body numbed, my strength all gone,
once again, my back, I was upon.

Then my body shook, short but strong,
My muscles tightened, tensing all along,
I felt a burning, like a whiskey shot,
travelling down, through my chest, burning hot,
I thought my body, was having an attack,
then everything faded, faded to black.
When I awoke, the attacker was by my side,
speaking of rules, and to the light we must hide,
I felt pain in my gums, I felt pain in my chest,
I felt pain all through me, I was told to lie and rest,
Not understanding, being pressed under his thumb,
Thinking of what he was, and what I was to become.

The first day, I woke with a yawn,
I stepped outside, into the light of the dawn,
Was it a dream, my attacker was gone,
but my pains, they all still carried on,
My gums and teeth, my energy they drain,
my body just trying to bear, all of this pain.

The Second day, I woke with a yawn,
I stepped outside, into the glear of the dawn,
my two outter top incisors, they had fallen,
my mouth still had pain, my other teeth were all in,
my skin was paling, my legs constantly cramped,
still not knowing where my attacker had camped,

The third day, I woke with a yawn,
I Stepped outside, into the heat of the dawn,
My two bottom canine teeth, had disappeared,
Still with this pain, yet I was prepared,
My eyes squinted at the sight of the light,
Now understanding, the speak of the night.

The fourth day, I woke with a yawn,
I stepped outside, into the pain of the dawn,
I retreated back, for the sun it burned,
I was vomiting, running both ends, as my insides turned,
two points appeared, where my two incisors once sat,
My two top canines had now fallen, and still in pain at that.

The fifth night, I woke with the moon,
I stepped outside, you'll be as I very soon,
The two points were now teeth, and the bottom two were points,
The pain was slowly easing, in my muscles and joints,
I had diarhea, and was still vomiting, but it was stopping,
my attacker catching me, as my body started dropping.

The sixth night, I woke to see him there,
my eyes squinted, because of his skin, its glear,
my bottom points were now through,
and as the others, my top canines become points too,
My vomiting stopped, but my diarhea did not,
my ears, eyes, nose and mouth, all felt hot.

The seventh night, I woke to feel no pain,
all my teeth were through, my eyes opened, images not so plain,
My sensors flooded, everything as if new,
Then I asked, did this happen to you too?
Once, long ago, it happens to us all,
I felt brand new, that nothing could make my fall.

We walked the next night, speaking of power,
speaking of good and bad, for no more then an hour,
then he said, that we must leave,
I must show you your life, if you still wish to breath.
I walked for some time, yet with speed I never knew,
keeping up with him, my legs felt as though they flew,
we stood on a hill top, in the distance, houses, a dull street light,
dull lanterns, he said, now its time, we dine tonight...

Touch So Cold 2 - Part Three
My sensors overwhelmed and crazed,
Steering down at this dull light,
hearing only silence from this forsaken night.
As we entered, the town was dead,
workers home, resting their heads,
We crept with silence, we moved with speed,
we hid in the shadows, controlling our need.

I could hear a cart, on the cobble stone,
The silence broke, the night now not alone,
we hid in an ally, hearing the horses feet,
as it came closer, I could hear its heart beat,
I could smell the man, and his horse,
they travelled alone, unaware of their soon altered course,
The horse stopped, and rose in fear,
"he can sense, the danger in the air."
My attacker spoke, then out from the shadows we ran,
he shouted, "I'll kill the horse, you capture the man."
I grabbed the man, then to the shadows we returned,
I could feel his heat, his pulse, it made my stomach burn,
Then my attacker rose his head, then angled in upon his throat,
I saw some blood leave his lips, flowing like a moat,
He glanced at me, then lifted the mans hand,
I knew what to do, my brain said no, but my hunger didn’t understand,
I bit his wrist, with my teeth,
without removing my lips, I withdrew my teeth, from the skin which it was beneath.

A scream was made, at a pitch so high,
my attacker just let out a frusterated sigh,
he dropped the man, and said we have been seen,
from a window saw, I saw a young lady lean.
Now its time for us to flee,
I could hear people walking, heading towards me,
yet they had not left their doors,
The sound so loud, the screach of a hinges,
even from the brothel, out came the whores,
Just before we disappeared, he looks at me, blood on his chin, RUN! his face cringes...

Your Gift
For the day, is what I yearn,
unless my curse, it does turn,
shattered, are my dreams,
Deafened, by my screams.
At the night, is what I cry,
Colours and sounds, lost to me,
taken for granted, the mortal eye,
everything dark, the sky and sea.
At the night, is what I curse,
forced upon me, nothing worse,
Shattered are, all of my dreams,
Deafened by, my suffering screams.

Empty
The chair creeks, as I sit back,
glancing at the table, where sits my empty glass,
the room is dull, as the light out side,
just the flicker of the flames, to keep me company,
though the fire is dying,
I still stare, watching it fade away,
watching dark consume me, dark all around,
a bottle sits, empty as is the glass,
both on my round table, no wider then a stool,
I see the fire, I see the last of its flames,
with time it dies, as does everything we know,
yet it leaves behind the embers, which continue to glow,
they stay with me, even when the fire is dead,
yet they fade too, fade to dark,
they die, their once warm glow, now no more then dull ash,
steering at the fire place, where in time it died,
enjoying what... I could never know...

A Rose
Like a dark red rose,
The colour, for what I live,
Your liquid inside.

Expectations
She fell back, onto her knees,
I laughed,
Her arms out stretched,
Her fingers tense,
Her hands shaking,
As I stepped forward, she let out a gasp,
Falling back, squeezing the cross in her grasp,
I laughed,
What did you expect?
Me to turn to ash?
I laughed,
She cried,
She sounded inarticulate, her head a single nod,
I laughed as she cried, praying to her god.

Expectations 2
In her eyes, I saw hell,
The panic and fear, I knew to well,
I grab her wrist, throwing aside the cross,
Her touch, her skin, I remembered my loss,
Her touch, her skin, I remembered my life,
I knelt next to her, trying to suppress my strife,
I rose to my feet, looking into her frightful eyes,
My vision blurred, my stomach turned, I fled from her cries.

Her Youthful Face
She stood, so beautiful,
In the moon light I saw her face,
She is, so beautiful,
with that always youthful face.

Pondering the world, thoughts bound to me,
the silence I hear, is my only companion,
though my mind, for the horrors it holds,
my dreams are never silent, as I unfold,
lest time has an end, or eternity a new meaning,
I am forever bound, to the hurt that I have felt,
So I travel, to try and relieve my pain,
My loneliness forces me, to rise to my feet again.

I walk, all alone,
through the eternal sands of time,
Then I saw you, your beauty,
for more then the view around.

On a lonely bench, I saw her between the trees,
a willow lined shore, framing a shining black lake,
the white glow of the moon, bouncing off the waves,
seeing her steer at the stars, her beauty it enslaves,
She is slumped, her head slowly dropping,
her hands rise, they cover her eyes,
She looks up again, tears running down her face,
for the bench she rose, with an unmistakable grace.

She stood, so beautiful,
In the moon light I saw her face,
she is, so beautiful,
with that forever youthful face.

Escape Mortality
Green dipping in ever changing blue,
Colours of the day completely lost to you,
Peach upon grey on a redden sky,
Now dark is all you see as you lie.

Take my hand, follow me,
Follow me, Follow me,
Take my hand, and you see,
none of lifes perplexity.

Take my hand, I will guide,
Take my hand, we will hide,
Come with me, walk with me, and die never,
Live out of the reach of any God forever...
