I purchased my subaru in January of 2000 from some guy up near Augusta, Maine for $2,300. It had a little rust, crappy tires and the allignment was WAY off when I test drove it, but I still loved it. When I picked it up it was most likely the coldest night of the year and me and a friend needed to install a headlight before taking it home, That hurt our hands very badly. The ride home was interesting with no washer fluid, an empty tank of gas, and unusual shaking on the highway. With a little TLC the subaru started to look and ride a lot better. I washed it after every snow storm to prevent rust and slowly fixed problems when money was available. The first thing that was added was a CD player becuase the AM/FM radio just didn't cut it. Then came the CB radio fallowed by the roof racks, KC lights, and finnaly Hellas. This is the subaru we see today! |
