THE UNSNOW TRIP #1

When I first started doing this page I was a little drunk so I will fix it up some time in the future, sorry about the slow loads...

Claire was pretty freaked out by my unbelievably skillful driving on the day. For those of you who didn't make the trip, this is Thunderbolt's Lookout.
Here's some of the view from the lookout.
Here's the rest...
This is the dodgy track where the white commodore got stuck. (Ha ha!) As if you'd follow me anywhere. Here's all of us at Polblue Swamp.
Going from left to right we have Mat, Rhiannon and Steve at the "mudhole" perhaps the days biggest obstacle, Steven just drove right through it, I reckon he was lucky to get out alive.
No wonder I was having some traction problems

This is my car coming up to the "mud hole"
That's no police car behind my car, the Fire Chief was just checking for fires I guess
Yes come to think of it, this track should have been closed, it was way too muddy for my liking.
Heres a great shot of the side of my head, and a not-so-great shot of the dust trail my car left behind it near Moonan Flat. It was spectacular in real life.
My car looks dirtier doesn't it?
What it says (I think): "ROAD CONDITIONS.> IN WET OR SNOWY CONDITIONS FOR SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REASONS, ALL VEHICLES ARE TO REMAIN ON GRAVEL SURFACES. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH COUNCIL SIGNS MAY LEAD TO PROSECUTION." This was the only 'sign' of snow we saw all day.

No-one told us that this track was closed until after we got off it.

I'LL FINISH THIS LATER - DAZZ

DAMN!
Well this wasn't on the 28th but it is the track on which we got lost on a few days before. This road makes it onto my personal shortlist of "crappest roads I've veer driven on."The sign reads: BOONABILLA ROAD > THIS ROAD IS CLOSED TO ALL VEHICLES OTHER THAN 4WD VEHICLES. > DRIVE IN A MANNER TO SUIT ROAD CONDITIONS.
Smee!
This is a poor photo of the damage to the front of my car attained in the "accident"
