Peanut Butter Oatmeal Drops

2 cups sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups uncooked quick cooking rolled oats

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper; set aside. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer about 2 minutes. Remobe from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla , then oats. Drop from a teaspoon onto wax paper. Cool until firm. Makes 38 to 46 pieces.
