Piece #2
Repeat ignoring instruction for the long tail in #3
· With right side facing, using transfer tool, fold waste yarn to right side, and picking up the loops of the main yarn, place them on needles 10 - 0 - 10 , leaving sts behind the latches.
· With wrong side facing, using transfer tool, fold waste yarn to right side and picking up the loops of the main yarn, place them on the same needles, leaving stitches in the hook.
Close the latches over the hooks using the small brush that came with your machine. Using a straight edge, long enough to go from one end of the stitches to the other.... I use my Ribber combs for this...the small one for small things and the big one for big things. push all the stitches back to working positon in one motion.
Using the long tail from piece #1, crochet cast off all stitches and remove from machine.
Check the right side carefully to make sure all the stitches were picked up and knitted in.... in large numbers it is sometimes easy to miss a stitch here or there.... and if everything is ok, remove waste yarn.
This seem is used at the shoulders normally to make nice strong and sturdy seam... not to mention it looks nice...
