Ginger Snaps
3/4 cup shortening1 cup sugar1/4 cup molasses1 egg2 cups flour1/4 tsp salt2 tsp soda1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp cloves1 tsp ginger
Cream shortening and sugar. Add the molasses and egg, mixing wellMix the flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger together and add to sugar mixture, mixing wellRoll into balls and dip in sugar.Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes.
