Wingbags The Wingbags can be found everywhere on Rubi-Ka. The sack which forms the nether region of a Wingbag's body produces gases, which in turn make the planet more Earth-like. Wingbags feed on plants and insects; often, they are found outside the cities, flying together in small flocks. Experienced travellers are seldom attacked by Wingbags, but newcomers to Rubi-Ka should approach these creatures with caution. |
Rhinomen The Rhinomen would only be a closed file in Omni-Med, if not for the clan of the Eco Warriors. Rhinomen were originally bred from human and rhinoceros genes. Omni-Med had decided to terminate this experiment, when the primitive breed was let loose in the wild after an attack on Omni-Med installations by the Eco Warriors. The animal instincts of the rhinomen are usually stronger than their human rationality. The northern side of the big rivers, close to clan land, is the area they usually roam. The Rhinomen sympathize with the clans, but they are not able to recognize an ally if they are the slightest bit provoked. |
Robots Robots are an everyday sight on Rubi-Ka, both in the Omni-Tek and clan areas. The android is a generic model that could be utilized in several ways, depending on chip-set and accessories. However, they are very unreliable if not kept under close control. In some areas of Rubi-Ka, crazy androids are wandering around aimlessly. A party of forgotten robots could very well kill a small party of even seasoned adventurers. |
Ninjadroid The Ninjadroid is an experimental killer robot used by Omni-Tek to infiltrate clan areas and assassinate specific targets. They are quite strong, and suitable for all types of combat. Unlike androids, they are able to work alone behind enemy lines for long periods of time. They are able to 'smell' and find a person from his/her genetic imprint. Fortunately, this robot is still only a prototype. But early tests have all been successful, and mass production of Ninjadroids could be an option for Omni-Tek at any moment. |
Roller Rat The roller rat looks small and and harmless, but they are very aggressive and attack without any provocation. These mutants seems to be a mix of ordinary rats (rattus norvegicus), armadillos and some alien genes. Their favorite attack is to charge their target as a ball. That is the reason why people on Rubi-Ka call them rollerrats. |
