The Fixer
The Fixer is the profession to contact if you want something on Rubi-Ka that is a bit unusual. They are able to "arrange matters". It could be some stims that needs to be smuggled into the city, a person that you don't have connections to speak to, or to get something that isn't strictly your's. The Fixer is a person who knows how to get things for the right price in the future urban society of Anarchy Online. On a mission the character is good for disarming traps and opening locks. All in all, an extremely useful character if you are willing to do things that aren't strictly legal.

Good at: Sneaking, social skills.
Least favourite skills: Heavy combat, complex weapons.

Soldier
Professionals in the tasks of guard duty, patrol and combat. Usually they are aligned with one of the two opposing forces, Omni-Tek or the rebels. Loyalty is one the highest-priced traits of a well-paid Soldier.

Martial Artist
The Martial Artist uses discipline and spirituality in the quest to find balance in the world. These modern seekers travel from place to place on Rubi-Ka. Martial Artists hope to be the anti-dote to what they perceive as the superficiality of the world's technology and culture.

Engineer
In a world dominated by technology, robots and computers, it is important to have people with the ability to repair and manipulate equipment. Engineers are able to handle some nano technology, but are more known for their skills with electronics and robot pets.

Agent
Fast and silent action is the technique of an agent. Sometimes the task will be to get information, other times to assassinate an important person. They use technology in their work, but always try to keep a low profile. Some knowledge of nano technology is also a good Agent skill.

Least favorite skills: Heavy combat.

Adventurer
Some prefer the silence of the wilderness to the hectic city life. They travel between cities to explore the deserts and get to know the breeds and monsters living in the outback. An Adventurer must be willing to do some combat, but cunning is often more important. The Adventurer is the yardstick which all other professions are measured against. They know a little bit of everything, but are not the most specialized. If you want to be a self-reliant character, this might be your choice.

Bureaucrat
In the vast corridors of Omni-Tek, this is a much more dangerous profession than it might seem. The political fights inside the bureaucracy often turn ugly. A Bureaucrat is often proficient in a wide selection of theoretical skills like healing, technology and nano. Also, these are experts on manipulation. Using a swift tongue, nano-technology or simply skills, a Bureaucrat will take control in most situations. They are often very charismatic, though their names would suggest otherwise.

Enforcer
The Enforcer is an all-round, dirty fighting class. They are a mix of a thief and a soldier. Sometimes they are called "thugs". Most people arrive on Rubi-Ka as Enforcers. There is an almost unlimited demand for strong, efficient Enforcers in the Notum mines. Mining is hard work that prepares loyal Omni-Tek employees for the conflict over the planet's future. Sometimes Enforcers end up among the rebels.

Good at: Brawling, simple technology
Least favorite skills: Theory, complex weapons

Doctor
This is without doubt the expert on healing. Doctors can use skills or nano, but nobody can out-heal a surgeon. The demand of doctors is always higher than the supply, on a planet with constant fighting. On other planets, healers avoid combat, but on Rubi-Ka the doctors have to know how to defend themselves.

Nano Technician
These strange people are found everywhere on Rubi-Ka. They are specialists in the science of controlling clouds of small robots. Both sides in the planetary conflict desire to add nano techs to their group. People from all over the galaxy, interested in nano technology, travel to the Rubi-Ka. The Notum and Jobe makes this an Eldorado for the profession.

Meta-Physicist
Even in an advanced futuristic world like Rubi-Ka, people believe there is more to the world than what we can know. The Meta Physicist is a person who has dedicated himself to understanding spiritual matters. In opposition to the nano technician, the Meta-physicist believes that not everything about the nano formulas can be explained with science. He is a, uh, religious nano technician...

Trader
This is the profession for people who believe in the power of money. Traders tend to stay away from combat. That's not to say that a trader cannot defend himself in a difficult situation... he just focuses on other things.
