Deciduous dwarf shrub with clusters of reddish-pink flowers with white centers. Can
use blooms fresh or dries in flower arrangements. To get the biggest cluster of flowers,
reduce the number of stems. Pia is a compact, dwarf variety with with a rounded
growth habit. It is also known as 'Pink Elf'.
('Pia' is the true name, however). Needs moist, well drained soil and protection from
strong winds. Prune in spring after last frost. Native to Japan and Korea. |
