Meet the Subway Darwins

Jonathan Mele, Drummer Jon joined the Darwins in October ’01, bringing a varied background to an already eclectic mix of influences. He has toured nationally and internationally with "The Who's Tommy,” and has opened for the Doobie Brothers and Spyro Gyra. He also has a long list of Off-Broadway, radio, and television appearances to his credit.  Jon is endorsed by Sabian cymbals, Yamaha drums, Grover Pro Percussion snares, and Vater sticks.
