Sue Bee's Kitchen presents A RECIPE FOR SPRING!
My Favorite Spring Salad
- 1 tbs Honey
- 2 tbs Extra-light or virgin olive oil
- 3 tbs white vinegar
- 3 1/2 tbs Water
- 1/8 tsp Salt (optional)
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3 cups of fresh strawberries ~ quartered (drain well if using frozen)
- 10 oz Bag of Italian Blend salad greens
- 4 tsp Pignoli (pine) nuts ~ roasted
In a small bowl, combine the honey,oil,water,
salt,vinegar, and pepper. Whisk well to blend. In a large
salad bowl combine
strawberries and greens.
Add the vinegar mix; toss to coat.
Sprinkle with nuts.
