While we were in Aruba, we took a 
trip 
to the Peninsula de Paraguana, 
Venezuela, to visit our 
good friend Christine.  On 
the trip we climbed the
mountain, Cerro Santa Anna.  
Cerro Santa Anna can be 
seen from Aruba and is 
pictured left.

The weather on the Peninsula 
is similar to Aruba, a desert 
climate.  However, Cerro 
Santa Anna is a cloud forest.  The 
upper portion of the mountain 
is a jungle 
with lush vegitation and 
waterfalls.
