CCS Love!
Now for the romance and love triangles that are so important in CCS! I know that sometimes this can be a delicate subject, so I've put the obvious ones here and I'll find a way to present some more controversial ones somewhere else.
Sakura + Syaoran
First of all, their personalities. Sakura is playful, cheerful, and sweet. Syaoran is kind but quiet, shy, and serious. Therefore, they compliement each other when they're around each other. Sakura would make Syaoran lighten up and be happy while Syaoran would help Sakura be more serious. Besides all that, Syaoran is wonderful protection and comfort for Sakura and he has such a kind heart! Sakura, as well, makes Syaoran happy. In the beginning, they would compete against each other because they were so similar in skills! Its another way they have fun around each other. They both are good at swimming, cooking, running, any sports, Clow Cards obviously, and many others too.
Chiharu + Mr. Terada
Well, this couple gets along very nicely. It must be hard for them though, to have to hide all about this away from everyone. Rika and Mr. Terada are both very kind, nice and ordenary people. You don't really see any internal struggles with their love for each other or anything because they aren't talked about very much and there's not much developement of their characters or the relationship as a whole. This couple is very sweet ^^ and they definetly do seem to be in love. Most would think Rika would be way to young to make this sort of decision but Sakura pointed out once that Rika was very mature.
This is the most obvious couple in CCS. Not only do Syaoran and Sakura LOOK alike, they act and think in the same way. In the beginning, of course, Syaoran was pretty hostile towards Sakura, but as you get further and further into the story, their relationships become much more friendlier. Just a few kind, well-placed words from from Sakura makes Syaoran start to blush. Of course, Syaoran takes the looongest time finding a way to tell Sakura he liked her, and of course, Sakura was completely clueless. Here are some more reasons why they suit each other so well:
Ok first off, I'd just like to say that I don't really like this couple that much...I mean, a 10 year old and a 20-something year old engaged?? Do Rika's parnets know anything abou this? I though it was a little farfetched but I admit, the couple is kind of cute together. ^^ But aside from that issue, this couple isn't shown all that much in the story since they both aren't very important characters. That also means that there are many questions about them that are left unanswered.
