Episode 1

Sakura has a weird dream where the Clow Book appears. Then she is standing by Tokyo Tower at night and cards are flying through the air. She has on interesting clothes and is standing next to a winged creature. She wakes up and hears the alarm. Then she introduces herself and her family. ^^;; Her family is made up of her father and her annoying brother. He mother died when she was 3. She has a fight with Touya and fantasizes about stomping on him. Touya leaves early from breakfast for morning soccer practise. Sakura gulps her food down and rushes after Touya. She introduces Yukito, the person she likes. As she goes to her elementary school, Yukito throws her a piece of candy.

Sakura introduces Tomoyo, Sakura's best friend who loves taking pictures and videos. Tomoyo talks about taking pictures of Sakura. In class, Sakura daydreams about her dream the night before. She draws the winged creature she saw before in her notebook and Tomoyo asks what it is. She then reads out loud, and later on, in cheerleading practise, the group practises with batons. Sakura thinks about her dream while twirling her baton and suddenly sees her baton as a magical staff before the baton hits her on the head.

At home, Sakura hears a sound coming from her dad's library. Afraid that it is a burglar, she grabs her baton with her. She notices an elaborately decorated book that is glowing on the shelf and pulls it out. The book is the same one as in her dream. When she opens the lock, she sees a card with the word "Windy" on it and reads Windy out loud. A great gust of wind appears and blows all the rest of the cards out of the book and disappearing through the walls.

Then an orange little creature comes out of the book cover. He explains that his name is Keroberos and that he is the guardian of the book. He tells Sakura about the Clow Cards and how they were made. He becomes extremely surprised when he finds out all the cards are gone except for Windy. Then Touya comes home. In Sakura's room, Kero tells Sakura that she has to get all the Clow Cards back and then makes her a Cardcaptor because she had the power to open the Clow Book. He makes a contract with Sakura and gives her the key that could turn into a staff.

Sakura notices a large gust of wind and Kero says that a Clow Card, Fly, was outside. Sakura uses the key and transforms it into a wand. She goes outside in her pajamas and roller blades.Through Kero's help, she uses the card she has, Windy, and then seals Fly. When she tries the card, she finds out it gives her wand wings so she can fly!

Kero-chan's topic of the episode is Tomoeda Elementary School uniforms! There are two types of uniforms, short-sleeved and long-sleeved. Kero introduces the long-sleeved uniform and the matching hat to with it. Then, Kero-chan Check! ^^;; His check point of the episode is the skirt. He also shows the boy's uniform.
