Sakura: That can't be true...

Chiharu: Oh. But I heard about a scary story that happened at the pool.

Sakura: Hoe?

Chiharu: Well, my big sister in 6th grade. Two days ago she was swimming in the pool.

And a third grader in the pool yesterday said she felt a pull on her arms and legs.



Tomoyo: Are you ok, Sakura-chan?

Sakura: I- I- I- I- I-
I- I'm fine!

Mr. Terada: [First do some stretches to warm you up!]

Sakura: %Ahh....and I was looking forward to this...			// Sakura is putting on her cap
%I hate konnyaku and scary stories...
[I hate the wobbly feeling when I eat it]

(Comments: Konnyaku is a jello-like thing called taro root curd. It tastes like nothing but I don't like it very much either. ^^)

Sakura: Ok. Ok I'm fine. Right?

Crowd: [Who are you talking to Sakura-chan?]

							// She starts swimming...

This feels nice!




Sakura: Come swim, Tomoyo-chan!

Unknown: kyaaaa!						// Sakura and Tomoyo hear a cry



Sakura: Chiharu-chan!					// It's Chiharu in trouble!

Sakura: %What?!%						// There are swirls surrounding Chiharu's foot that makes her stuck

Kero: [suddenly acts nice]
Ah...Sakura-sama!

Sakura: I don't think it's a ghost.

Sakura: Ah!

Person (Yukito): Those look delicious.



Sakura: Yukito-san!!!

Yukito: Sakura-chan, you're a good cook.

Sakura: No...not that good!

Touya: Yea. She's not that good.

						// Sakura steps on Touya's foot and he sweatdrops

Kero: Hey! Hey! What are you saying?
You won't be able to swim in the pool safely!

Sakura: That's terrible.

Kero: 

[I thought I was gonna die...]
But it might be harder this time.

Sakura: Huh?

Kero: There was something underwater?



Were you able to see anything?

Sakura: Nothing but swirling water.

Kero: That makes it the Watery card, probably.

Sakura: So it is a Clow Card!



If I catch it and return it, I can swim again!

Kero: Yea, but it's not that easy.
Watery is one of the more complex Clow Cards.
The four powers Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind are all difficult.

Kero: It has an attacking power. It gets angry quickly!

Sakura: Uhh.						// Sakura doesn't know what to do...

Kero: With your cards, you won't be able to fight it.

							// Teacher blows the whistle

Teacher: Cheerleading practise is over now.			// Sakura and her friends are at cheerleading practise

Cheerleaders: Thank you!!

							// Sakura is totally zoned out

Cheerleader A: [That was tough.] 

Cheerleader B: [I'm tired...]

Cheerleader C: [Let's get some ice cream]

Chiharu: I heard that someone's legs got dragged again today and almost drowned.

Naoko: Scary.

Chiharu: The teachers don't know what the problem is and they had to shut the pool down.

[Flashback Mode]						// Sakura goes into flashback mode to when she was talking to Kero

							// She stares at the cards she has

Sakura: What if I use all four together...

Sakura: [hmmmm]

Kero: Nah, can't do it.
Windy is a high level card but it can't beat Watery.
[Windy is too kind.]
And Watery is hard to catch because it has no shape.
What you have to do is gather it together and keep it from spreading out. 
That's impossible with your cards.

[End flaskback]

Chiharu: You seem a little tired, Sakura-chan.

							// Sakura goes out of trance-mode 

Sakura: Oh, it's nothing. I got tired from practise, i guess.

Chiharu: [You, always full of energy??]

Naoko: [Never give up, even after the baton's hit you in the head?]

							// Sakura washes her hands

Sakura: %I have to catch Watery soon.
%Or else someone will really drown.

%How do you catch water?					// Sakura stares at the water in her hand

Yukito: Sakura-chan!

Yukito: Thanks for yesterday's food. It was delicious.

Sakura: Y- Yes!

Yukito: You're on the cheerleading squad right?
Are you good at twirling your baton yet?

Sakura: Oh...I'm not good yet...

Yukito: Touya said you drop the baton a lot practising at home.

Sakura: [Grrr...]

Yukito: In return for those pancakes...do you want to go eat snow cones sometime?

Sakura: Really?! It's ok?!

Yukito: Definitely.

Yukito: I know a good place that serves strawberry milk snow cones.
Lets meet in front of the school gate tomorrow after school.

Sakura: Okay!
