Calvin gave me a pair of hamsters in May. They were still quite young when I got them. The pair is inseparable. They like to do things together.. One sweet thing is, the male, BoiBoi, likes to sayang the female (you guessed it, GerGer). I love to watch them cuddled up together and sleep.

9th July, on our one and a half months anniversary, GerGer gave birth to 3 healthy pinky babies. The proud mother makes sure that they are well-fed and warm, and my duty was to provide sufficient water and food. GerGer is so friendly that she doesn't mind me peeking at her small family. Once in a while, she climbs on my palm and allows me to carry her out of the cage. This picture was taken, with the permission of the mother of course, when the babies had just grown most of their fur. Their eyes were not opened at that time.

| 21 July, the babies opened their eyes today..!! So cute! And they are running about in the cage, learning new stuffs and exploring new places. Their teeth aren't strong enough to break open the sunflower seeds yet so I piled up some seeds that I cracked for them to eat. I haven't name them yet.. can't think of a suitable names yet. Any idea? |  |
