Thomas General Reede

Tom Reede was born November 28, 1884 To George B. Reed and Mary Frances Gunn in Berryville, AR. His mother died when he was four and his father died when he was nine. He and his little sister, Rutha went to live in an orphanage.

When he was young his eyes were injured and later went to a school for the blind. His eyes were troublesome most of his life, but it did not stop him from a very active life.

This is the earliest known photo taken about age 16.

Grandpa Reede Loved to fish!

Grandpa fished everywhere he went and he did it well.

These pictures go from California to Connecticut, creeks in Oklahoma to Long Island Sound.
