| pearl harbor starring ben affleck, josh hartnett, and cuba gooding jr. First off, I have to tell you that I had to go to this movie alone. Noone in my family wanted to see it. Just the fact that it stars three of the dreamiest actors in hollywood today made me want to see it. I loved the movie for that reason alone. The special effects in this movie were stunning as well. They made you feel as if you were really there with them. The one aspect of the movie I didn't like was the lead female role of Evelyn Stewart, played by Kate Beckinsale. She apparently couldn't make up her mind who she loved. She started off with Rafe ( affleck ), then when she thought he died she decided she loved Danny ( hartnett). However once Danny actually dies and Rafe returns... well you get the picture. The storyline stayed true to historical fact, which is always nice, and overall I think it was a great movie, if for nothing else than the cast, and special effects. I give this movie 3 stars. -travis |
