| Hard-nosed, patriotic Nate Ramsey is charged with base and personnel security. The sole vote against Parker's initial selection as "chrononaut", Ramsey is convinced that Parker is not the right man for the job, despite mounting evidence to the contrary. Brandishing a gun, he attempted to stop Parker the first time he backstepped and was ordered shot by Talmadge -- an event that was undone (but curiously not reported by Frank) when Parker was succesful in altering the past. |
