| During the month's of April, May and June, Shane and Shannon wrestled for Southern Championship Wrestling (SCW), an independent wrestling organisation in North Carolina. The month of April saw Royal Pain May saw Misery And June CyberWar At Royal Pain Shane and Shannon were brought in as enemies. Shane teamed up with Cham Pain, and Shannon with Sex, Love and Money. The two teams wrestled in a tag team match, which saw Shane and Cham Pain gain the victory. At Misery, Shane Helms and Cham Pain wrestled Shannon Moore and Gotti (Sex, love and Money brought in hired gun Gotti to replace an injuried William Wealth). Shannon scored the pin on Shane, after reversing the Vetebreaker and hitting Shane with The Bottom's Up. Angry over the loss, Shane asks for a re-match at the next SCW card, and which ever team takes the pin must leave SCW for-ever. Shannon and Gotti accept. Due to wrestling WWF house shows, Shane Helms was unable to appear at CyberWar. Ex-partner and Serial Thrilla, Mike Maverick, took his place. Cham Pain and Mike Maverick were victorious in the match, resulting in Shannon Moore and Gotti having to leave SCW for-ever. However, the result was controversial.
