Poetry 2.5 Hours Away
Its like talking to a friend you haven’t seen for years You still connect, Communicate to each other with no fears. It’s unlike a real relationship in retrospect You don’t see each other’s expressions But some how feel future passions. Faces each haven’t seen Exchange of voices incoherent. True this can start a scene Of being ignorant Meeting someone over the internet. Both of you are grown Though not living on there own. You are strangers With some similarities Concerning anger About ex’s past responsibilities. To keep from anyone getting hurt There is a need for a strong friendship to start For this all to work And no one will end up loosing a heart. by Shane Byron Copyright 2002, Shane Byron |
