| Hotaru has the unusual gift of being able to heal injuries. It is because of this gift that she has been on her own, except for her father, her whole life. All the kids her age think that her gift is unnatural. But she has her own physical problems, too. She has a frail body. Any strenuous activity will cause her to faint or even worse. |
| But Sailor Saturn is another story. When Sailor Saturn first shows up, she is possessed by Mistress Nine, one of the Death Busters. Mistress Nine's only objective was to bring back Master Pharaoh Ninety. Hotaru overcame Mistress Nine when she took back her body, which caused her to die. But she was revived as a baby, and grew up in a normal life. She then returned as Sailor Saturn as a healing booster for the other scouts. |
