Here is a list of some of the activities we do on an ongoing basis.  Have an idea about a new activity?  We are always open to suggestions!  With the exception of Mom’s Night Out our activities are during the day, however children and babies are always welcome at all club activities and functions.

Activities

Playgroups and weekly outings

Playgroups

Meet other moms with kids around the same age as your own or who live in your neighborhood.   We have playgroups by age beginning with  0-18 months, 18-36 months, and 3 years and older.  In addition, we have neighborhood playgroups so you can get to know   members in your own neighborhood.  The playgroups meet at members' homes, parks and play facilities.   Older and younger siblings  are always welcome to attend each other's playgroups.

Meet other moms and kids for whole club day activities.  Past activities include:  visits to zoos, local parks and museums.

Other club activities

Book Club

MOMS and children get together for lunch.  The children play while the MOMS lightly discuss the current book of the month. Examples of previous books are: Dating Big Bird  by Laura Zigman, White Oleander by Janet Fitch and Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin.

Cooking Club

Moms and children get together for lunch, Mom’s exchange recipes, make meals for the Meals for Moms program and we have all  have a potluck.

Hiking Club

If you enjoy hiking and walking - get the kids, walking shoes and/or stroller ready.  We meet regularly at local parks to discover nature and enjoy a nice afternoon or morning.

Mom’s/Dad’s Night Out

This gives moms an opportunity  to get out of the house without the kids and enjoy dinner, a movie, or some other fun activity with other moms.

By popular demand, the Dads wanted to get to know each other so once in a while one of the Dads will host a Dads Night Out

Services

Hospitality and Babysitting Co-op

Having a baby?  Do you know someone in the MOMS Club® who's expecting soon?  Then contact the Hospitality Coordinator!   Hospitality coordinates the delivery of  home-cooked meals for new parents and growing families.  Call us to set up a     meal for someone, or to volunteer your services as a meal provider.

Looking for a friend to help out with babysitting once in awhile?  Then this group is for you!  Moms trade babysitting "scrip" with no    money changing hands.

Community Service Projects

Each MOMS Club chapter is asked to perform at least one service project per year benefiting children in need in their community.  Our club heartily engages in various community projects throughout the year.  We have adopted Child Haven and support them on an  ongoing basis through material and financial donations.  We support the International MOMS Club Mother-To-Mother Fund, which is the International MOMS Club charity that assists moms and their families in times of crisis.

Our club meets regularly at a local retirement home to visit with residents, do crafts, and share holiday cheer.  Past visits have included a Halloween parade, Christmas caroling and a craft day.
