THIS DAY IN JASON & CARLY HISTORY
1997 - Carly and Tony arrive at the hospital and Carly frantically inquires about Jason. Monica
tells her that Jason is in jail and was not wounded in the shooting. Tony is outraged when he hears
that Jason performed surgery on Nikolas and says that Jason could have killed him. Carly defends Jason
to Tony and reminds him that Jason is in jail. Carly asks Tony to take her to the PCPD and when Tony refuses
Carly announces that she's going by herself and calls a cab. Tony confides to Bobbie that he doesn't love
Carly and is unsure whether or not he ever did. Meanwhile Luke tells the Quartermaines they should be proud, their
son saved Nikolas Cassadine's life. Carly arrives at the police station.
Taggert: What the hell are you doing here, lady?
Carly: I am stopping a crime in progress. You are persecuting an innocent man! Tony and I heard about it over the car radio. They said there was a drive-by shooting and a man dead. What was I supposed to think?
Jason: You were supposed to be thinking of yourself. (Jason points to her pregnant belly)
Carly: I'm thinking of myself, Jason. What if it had been you? What would I have done?
You know, you are the only friend I've got in this entire screwed up town. You're the only one
I can talk to. I can't even talk to myself anymore without knowing everything I say is a lie.
More bickering ensues and Justus gets Jason released. The first cab money scene!!!
Jason: Carly.
Carly: Yeah?
Jason: *hands her some cash* This is for a cab. I can't give you a ride home.
Carly: Okay.
Jason: Okay? And thanks for coming. But don't do it again.
Carly leans in a kisses him on the cheek. "Whatever you say."

I am ecstatic to announce that we shall be moving to a new domain very soon! Never ending thanks to Amanda
at cruel-deception.net for so generously offering to host us! My apologies
to all for Yahoo! shutting down this site for high traffic over the weekend. This problem should be resolved once we get
moved. I couldn't even get in to update, which is endlessly frustrating. Please take a minute to visit Amanda's sites (she has one for everybody -- including all you J/Cers!) to thank
help me thank her.
GOOD NEWS!
According to online scoopster Sage's latest reports -- there will be alot of upcoming Jason & Carly scenes. I can't
even tell you how excited I am about that. On the same note -- our companion site The Jason & Carly report may be up
a little later than initially planned - due to our aforementioned domain switch.
This Day in Jason and Carly History
1997 - The foreshadowing of the beginning of it all! Tony and a reluctant Carly are on their way
to a fancy hospital party when the news of the drive by shooting at Luke's comes over the radio. Carly
immediately starts freaking out. Frantic-Carly begs Tony to turn the car around and go to the hospital.
Tony: Carly, what is the matter with you?
Carly: It could be Jason!
An angry Tony pulls the car over and snaps off the radio: "Now will you get a grip?"
Carly: Will you just do this one thing for me? This one time, because I asked you. (Little does Carly realize how
much Jason will do for her if she only asks!)
Carly: Jason could be lying in a pool of blood with a bullet in him!
Tony: So what? He's got family. He's got hired men to take care of him! Why does he need you?
Carly: Because he hates doctors. And he hates hospitals. And he just so happens to be the best friend that I've ever had! Now, if I were lying in a pool full of blood with a bullet in me, you'd be busy and Jason would be the first person that I saw if and when I opened my eyes and then he would take care of me. And every second you waste keeps me from doing the same thing for him that he's always done for me without thinking twice!
And since I didn't update yesterday .... December 7th, 1999::

One of the most bittersweet scenes in Jason and Carly history...Carly follows Liz to her art studio and finally
finds out that it's where Jason has been hiding. She waits for Liz to leave and then sneaks in to watch over a sleeping
Jason. Jason is none too pleased when he opens his eyes to find Carly there.

Carly: What's the matter? Let me help you!
Jason: I dont want you here. (Heartbroken Jason shoves her hands away from him)
Carly: What's happened to you? You're shot, Jason! My God! How bad...?
Jason: Leave. Me. Alone.
Carly: No. I can't, Jason. I love you.
Carly is hurt by the fact that Jason is being nursed by Liz. She questions him about their "relationship".
I've always hated the fact that the writers have ALWAYS ignored the fact that Sonny lied to Carly about
Jason's feelings for her and his relationship with Liz on the night of hate-sex.
Carly: What is she to you?
Jason: Doesn't matter, Carly.
Carly: It doesn't matter, Carly? I saw you with her. I saw you with her. I was standing outside of
Kelly's. While you two were inside. Slow dancing, fogging up the windows. I panicked.
I went to Sonny. You know? Who else was I gonna ask? And he told me that you were seeing her.
He said that, you know, that she deserved you and I didn't. And you were better off without me.
And I hated him. For saying it, you know? And I didn't wanna believe it, but I saw it.
With my own eyes.
We all saw it Carly and my retinas are still hurting three years later.
Jason: It's not important now.
Carly: It is important, Jason. That's what started this whole thing!
Look, what I did. I mean, it was so stupid. It was the stupidest thing I've ever done in my life.
It was so stupid, Jason. And I'm so sorry, you know? It was just a bad decision. And it didn't
mean anything to me. You know I love you.
Drumroll please....Jason: I know. I love you too.
Jason: But that doesn't matter anymore. If you would have...if you would have fallen in love with
Sonny I would have hated it. But I guess I could live with it, because love...
You can't help. It is. But you did this to hurt me. You thought of the thing you could do that
would be hardest for me and you did it.
Carly: No! I didn't think of it. It wasn't like that. I wasn't thinking about it, Jason!
Jason: And you're gonna do something like this when you feel the need to punish me.
Carly: I would never do that!
Jason: If I let you...So I can't let you. You understand me? This is over.
Carly: It will never be over between us. (amen, Carly)
Jason: You wanna help me? Get the hell out of here! Go. Don't come back.
That's what I need right now.
Carly: I know that you hate me right now. And you know what? You have every right.
But nobody will ever love you, the way that I do. And I know that you will forgive me
because I know you better than you know yourself. And that's what you do. That's what you do.
You forgive me.
This is the saddest scene in all of JasonandCarlydom. I cry everytime I watch it...
DECEMBER 5th, 2002
I have added three new collages to the Tributes page. I have a feeling I may be eating some crow very shortly regarding Vanessa Marcil's decision to resign at
GH. I've been hearng some disturbing news from scoopsters about her upcoming storyline. I dont want to be a
bitch and spoil any unspoiled people out there so I won't mention it until it's more public -- at which time
I will publicly swallow my foot for you guys. In other news Titantic star Gloria Stuart (old Rose) is set to
star on the New Year's episode of GH. Apparently she will play a former mob moll who shares her life story
with Carly. The regular cast of GH will play the characters in her flashbacks and Tamara Braun will play
a young version of her character. Interesting...
LOBOTO-ME LOBOTO-YOU
Last night was Steve's final episode of Taken and I will admit to sadistically laughing as those doctors cut his
skull open and began picking out parts of his brain. Hmmm didn't know he had one of those.
THE JASON AND CARLY REPORT
The new site should be up this weekend sometime. If you have or know of some transcripts of the recent
scenes I would appreciate them, and as always will be happy to give you credit.
THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY
1997 - Jason discusses his new position as head of the Organization with Luke. Luke encourages Jason to make a name
for himself and stop hiding behind Sonny's. After she overhears Bobbie and Amy trashtalking her at the hospital, Carly calls Bobbie on her hypocrisy. She tells
Bobbie that she was almost fooled by the truce she had initiated at Thanksgiving dinner. She
leaves GH and heads to Kelly's to get Tony a takeout lunch. She runs into Jason and is delighted to see him. She asks him if
why he doesn't live at Jake's anymore. Jason tells her he moved to Sonny's penthouse (foreshadowing much) and gives her his new
phone number. When Emily arrives Jason introduces her to Carly who departs after planting a firm kiss on Jason's cheek. A surprised Emily questions
Jason about his relationship with Carly.
Emily: You never let anyone kiss you but Grandmother and Robin.
Jason: Carly does stuff and you can't stop her.
Emily: Is she your friend?
Jason: Yeah.
DECEMBER 4th, 2002
Happy Wednesday everybody! I've got some great news and some potentially horrible news. The good news
is that according to her official site, Vanessa Marcil has resigned for an additional three months on
General Hospital. I've been arguing for awhile that VM staying on GH is the only shot we have at a revival
of CarlyandJasonism (since an eventual Brenda/Sonny reunion would be inevitible). The bad news is that
online scoopster Sage is claiming that the final nail in Jiz's coffin might not be as final as we had hoped. He's
saying that both Guza and Steve Burton are hinting that a Jason/Liz reunion might be in the works. Someone kill
me now.
I'M TAKEN
Tonight is the last episode of Taken featuring Steve Burton. If you caught it last night you were in for
a real treat. They showed a totally naked Burton writhing up and down on an alien operating table!! Steve.
Burton. Naked. I need a cold shower just typing about it. It was also a trip to see him in hobo costume
and living in a boxcar. Speaking of which I think Steve's spent the majority of his acting career in a boxcar!
Tune in tonight to catch an aged Steve.
THE JASON AND CARLY REPORT
Due to space constraints on this site, I am developing a new companion site to this one. It will feature
weekly recaps, transcripts, and screencaps of all the new Jason and Carly scenes. I'm planning a launch date
for this weekend.
THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY

1998 - Jason pitches in to help Carly who is redecorating Michael's room in the Cottage From Hell. As they are putting
up wallpaper, Carly uses
this as an opportunity to seduce Jason by making him inspect her neck for glue. Jason who has obviously
sniffed way too much of the stuff refuses. Jason is impressed when Carly suggests hanging a man on the moon
on the wall for Michael. As Jason goes to get the tools his own personal tool, Robin calls. Our sly little Carly
lies to the Oh So Blessed One and says Jason isn't home. When Robin provides Carly with a phone number Carly
conveniently doesn't write it down. Always thinking the worst of people (and in this isolated case being correct) Robin
asks Carly to repeat the number. Carly reminds Robin that it doesnt take a degree from Yale to write down a phone number.

Jason returns and Carly has a momentary lapse of memory and doesn't mention that Robin called. She wonders out loud
if Robin will have issues with the new wallpaper and then begins to further badmouth Robin. BrainwashedJason tells her
that she is not going to ruin his relationship with his Lord and Master. Carly crosses her fingers behind her back (ok not really)
and tells him she has no desire to break them up. Jason insists that he, Carly, and Michael are a family and Robin will never
do anything to destroy that. Oh I can hear those words biting him in the ass from here.

Carly climbs a ladder and when Jason continues
to ignore her she "falls" off and wounds her ankle. Thankfully Jason never finished his medical degree cause he gently
tends to her ankle and then agrees to carry her to his bed (whooboy!) so as not to disturb Michael. Although as evidenced
by the picture below he seems none too upset by the prospect.
">DECEMBER 3rd, 2002 ">
My deepest apologies for my bad behaviour recently as far as updating. Here's a word of advice, if
you enjoy having any free time (which includes maintaining a website) don't major in Electrical Engineering. It's
way too time consuming!
HOLY DONUTS BATMAN
I'd like to give a big thanks to Crissy for alerting me to the alarming occurances of the word "donut" in the
latest addition to possession. Apparently I marked 'donut' instead of 'don't' during a spellcheck. My apologies
to anyone who got hungry while reading it -- the flub has been corrected.
TAKEN
There's only one thing better than Science Fiction in my book -- science fiction that features LOTS of shirtless
Steve Burton! I saw more Burton nipples in the first episode of Taken than GH has shown since his no names
sex days with Carly. And how hot was the scene of shirtless!Steve firing the machine gun at the Germans who weren't
really Germans? It was worth a rewind. I'll do my best to locate some screencaps for everyone. And I'm pretty
sure more than one jaded Jason & Carly fan is enjoying seeing Mr Burton tortured -- and imagined it was for his numerous
crimes against CarlyandJasonism.
THE "NEW" JASON & CARLY
I know everyone's loving the new Jason and Carly that GH is so generously serving us these days. I'm planning
on adding a weekly update to keep everyone informed of all the classic new scenes.
THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY
1998- Ahhhh nothing like a Morgan family moment in the park! Jason leaves Michael in the care of a very
nervous Carly who hasn't been alone with her son since being released from Ferncliffe. Jason gives her
pointers on keeping Michael happy and tells her that he trusts her and knows she loves her son. How sweet of Jason
to trust her with her own kid. End Sarcasm. At the bikeshop, Mike and Jason discuss the animosity between
Saint Robin and Carly. Jason admits that although he misses Robin (gag!) things are better with her out
of the picture. Well I couldn't agree more! Back at the park, Carly is distracted by Helena's fur coat
which is all just a setup by Tony to get to Michael and make Carly look bad. Jason arrives as Carly and Tony
are threatening each other and takes Carly's side. Go Jason! He warns Tony to stay away from Michael and Carly.
1999 - DevastatedJason tells Sonny he'd rather bleed to death in the boxcar than accept help from him. When did
he grow balls? After AJ arranges a visit from a psychiatrist Carly shows up at the Penthouse and begs Sonny to help
her find Jason. Always the kind soul that he is, Sonny refuses. Carly retaliates beautifully when Hannah
arrives. "This is all your fault." She gloats angrily at Hannah. "Little Miss Federal Agent Scott." File this
one under scenes that make you miss Sarah Brown.
NOVEMBER 29, 2002
My wonderful local ABC station decided that the University of Texas vs. Texas A&M game was more important
than General Hospital -- so I missed today! You guys will have to let me know if I missed any
good Jason/Carly stuff. Although I doubt it. You may need to take a barf bag to the grocery store this week
in case you see the new issues of SID and SOD. Steve Burton is on the cover of both. On SID with Vanessa Marcil
and on SOD with Vanessa, Rebecca Herbst, and Alicia Leigh Willis. Quite the man whore isn't he? Want to skip the torture of yourself and go straight to the torture of Mr Burton? Check out this picture from Taken his new
miniseries set to air on the SciFi channel starting Monday.
ST PATRICK'S DAY
The newest issue of Soaps in Depth features a small article on emmy award winner Patrick Mulcahey, former and newly rehired
General Hospital writer. This is awesome news, folks. Mulcahey was associate head writer during Sarah Brown's
introduction as Carly and was the number one crusader for CarlyandJasonism in the late nineties. Mulcahey has
expressed his support for the couple and the character of Carly in general. He is responsible for the laundry cart,
Carly's confession of her identity to Bobbie, Carly and Jason's affair at Jake's, Carly's fight with Hannah then Jason
at Luke's and the kiss that occured afterwards to name a few. SID praises Mulcahey and the pairing of Jason & Carly
in the article "he was on hand when the show hit pay dirt by pairing the vixen (Carly) with Jason." Mulcahey sites his wished
to continue Carly's relationship with Jason and her tempestuous relationship with Bobbie in the article. The majority
of the quote are taken from a 1999 article "Dear Sarah" in which Mulcahey repeatedly praised Sarah Brown as the best
actress on daytime. For a full transcript of that article Visit Sarah Brown Online.
SWINGERS
When Scott was interrogating Jason on Wednesday's show he implied that Jason had married Brenda for
Sonny. Although we all know it was to keep Carly happy. "You marry his girlfriend and move her in across
the hall and keep the wife busy while he gets some action from Brenda." Boy how I wish Jason was
"keeping Carly busy". "My question is, what do you get out of it?" Scott asked him. This is a hard
one to answer. Jason married Brenda cause Carly asked him to get rid of her and Jason admitted this
to Carly. So what does Jason get out of it? Carly being happy with Sonny? That is one fucking noble
guy.
THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY
1999 - The final day. The calm before the storm. A JealousCarly spots Jason and Liz together on the docks.
Liz is showing off her portrait of Lucky and gives Jason a hug to thank him for helping her decide what to
paint. After Liz gets lost, Carly asks Jason about his Thanksgiving. She tells him that she and Michael are
most thankful for him and that because of him she has alot to be grateful for. She admits that she
feels like they are finally moving forward. Always insecure, Carly asks
Jason if he would want to go back to the way things used to be between them. Instead of answering Jason
smiles and pulls her into an embrace. After he lets go Carly thanks him and he questions her.
Carly: Oh, there's just not many bad moods or many bad days that having you hold me like that wouldn't make disappear. (I personally
would like to have the opportunity to test that theory!)
Jason strokes her cheek and reminds her that he told her in front of Sonny that he didn't regret kissing her. Jason
warns her that they can't act on their feelings but he trusts her enough now to confess his feelings to her.
Carly asks why he trusts her now.
Jason: No, I always trusted that you cared about me. But I just wasn't always sure that I wouldn't end up roadkill because of it.
Carly: But now you know better right?
Jason: Or I'm taking my chances.
Carly: Well, good. Thank you. Because a chance with you, Jason, is better than any sure thing I can think of.
Jason goes on to warn her against doing anything that might give AJ ammunition to take Michael away from her, and asks
her to be patient. Carly agrees to wait until they are free to be together.
Never very good at the patience thing, Carly informs AJ when she gets home that she is leaving him and
taking Michael with her.
NOVEMBER 28, 2002
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I hope everyone had a great day with their families and friends? I've heard
mixed reviews on the special Groundhog day GH, although mostly bad. I have to admit I enjoyed seeing
Jason made fun. Especially when he appeared in the OR as Doctor Jason Quartermaine "I became a brain surgeon
so I could save you!" My roommates would have had a field day with that one! They love joking about how Jason
always saves the day.
ODDS & ENDS
I found a transcript of an appearance Steve Burton did a while back. It has some lovely pictures. Steve's Appearance
Courtesy of The Ice Princess. And for those Carly fans who want to show a way to support their favorite heroine, I
actually stumbled upon some tee-shirts for sale that say "Carly's Angels". I know they have nothing to do
with our Carly -- but it works. Carly T-Shirts.
And finally someone over at SoapZone did the most fabulous J/C post! I couldn't agree more and it's a great read.
Carly's Loyalty to Jason A must read!
POSSESSION
Chapter nine of Possession has been posted! What does Sonny do after he sees Carly and Michael in
Jason's arms? How will Carly react to the reunited father and son? Take a look and enjoy!
PLACING BETS
I know I've blabbed on and on about how great Jason and Carly have been lately. But I just can't get over it!
The scenes in the Police Station were awesome! ProtectiveCarly is determined to save Jason, even if she has
to defy Sonny to do it! That's the girl I know and love so much! I have missed the hell out of her! Carly was
ready to take on Sonny, Scott, Brenda, and anyone else in her efforts to protect Jason. She better watch out,
people may say they're in love! Well someone besides me anyway. And Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. Our girl would
never just stand there and watch Jason dragged out of Kelly's in cuffs. (unless she was the one cuffing him!) Carly would
have thrown herself on Taggart and screamed and fought and followed him down to the PCPD. She would have never
sat around whining to Liz and trying to muster up the courage to call AJ a "creep". What is this chick in the third
grade? Honestly how many adults say "creep"? And the twenty dollar bet. Gotta love CarlyandJason traditions.
THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY
1999 - Ok so it technically wasn't the same date but it was Thanksgiving! Carly talks her way out
of attending the Quartermaine holiday traditions of pizza and fighting and spends the day in the nursery with
Michael. My guess is she knew she might lose her pepperoni by sitting across from Juan the DogBoy. Actually
Carly spends her day very productively dreaming about Jason! She reminds Michael that all their money and
nice things are not what they have to be thankful for. "But you know something Michael? None of that's important, honey. You know? What we really have to be thankful for, what's really important is that we have somebody in our lives that loves us. And... before too long we'll be going home to him."
Oh how I only wish that had been true! The strains of Jason and Carly's theme song (Milk by Garbage) begins to play as Carly
remembers the key moments of their relationship. Meeting at Jake's, passionate sex. Definitely stuff to be thankful for.
The night she showed up at the penthouse pregant with Michael and soaking wet from the rain.
Jason: What are you doing here?
Carly: Jason, I- I need you.
Jason: Carly, I'm busy right now.
Carly: Jason, please. It's really important.
The song continues to play as they show clips of Carly's confession about her identity. Michael's birth. Carly
asking Jason to take care of Michael. Carly being released from Ferncliffe. Their Christmas at Jake's.
Carly: Yeah, well you better watch out. Because I'm hot, baby! I'm hotter than like a parka
Carly and the plaaaan. Jason giving Michael over to Carly at the Quartermaines. The rings!!!!! And finally
the kiss.
I'm waiting
I'm waiting for you
I'm aching
I'm aching for you...
NOVEMBER 27, 2002
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!! We crusaders of CarlyandJasonism have alot to be thankful for! Most
especially the last three weeks. I am LOVING all the Protective Carly scenes. Carly's set and
ready to defy Sonny if it means saving Jason from prison. You go girl! And how disapointing that
Jason shows up at Kelly's when he's released to embrace Courtney. Little does he know Carly's been
his crusader while he was under arrest. I wonder how much that would please his Carly-loving heart?
TURKEY DAY?
The much dished Courtney Groundhog day episode airs tomorrow. In one of her fantasies, Jason is
still Jason Quartermaine and the perfect little family boy. According to fans who attended Steve Burton's
appearances during Super Soap Weekend, Steve has asked his fans not to watch! Too bad Steve...I'm actually
looking forward to it. It reminds me of the Memorial Day special Carly's nightmare -- which was hilarious
and a wonderful change of pace.
I've added some original collages to the Tributes page Enjoy! And the following two GIFS:

THIS DAY IN CARLY AND JASON HISTORY 1997 - After remembering Robin's words that he owed it to Jason Quartermaine to take care of the people
he loved, Jason Morgan brought the Quartermaine's a turkey and saved their Thanksgiving dinner which had
been ruined by burglars dressed up like Pilgrims.
Happy Thanksgiving All!!
NOVEMBER 25, 2002
My deepest apologies for not updating over the weekend. I had to go out of town for Army Satellite school which
sounds much more interesting than it actually is.
I am proud to announce that I was added to the ABC Soaps Directory which lists the best of ABC fansites. I'm also happy to announce that while I was away we reached 5000 hits! Thanks everybody for keeping CarlyandJasonism alive! Not much news out there folks....so I've included the last couple days worth of Jason & Carly History...Enjoy! and see
you tomorrow.
NOVEMBER 23rd
1998 - AJ went to the cottage to visit Carly and was surprised to learn that Robin had left
town. (Oh how we wish it had been forever) AJ tried to get on Carly's good side and offered to help
her any way that he could, but Carly
saw through his attempt at friendship. (Plus he's not as hot as Jason!) After AJ left, Carly assured Jason that she would never let
the Quartermaines get their hands on Michael and gave Jason a friendly hug. Jason then listened as
Carly told Michael a fairy tale based on her own life with Jason.
Carly: "Princess Carly was always, I mean ALWAYS in trouble. But it was never her fault. Right, Daddy?"
Jason: "Sure..."

AJ returned home and Edward was
impressed by his plan to split up Jason and Carly in order to get Michael.
Monica and Bobbie argued about Carly's abilities as a mother. Bobbie defended Carly (there's a first!) and told Monica she had better find a way to get along with Carly if she wanted access to Michael.
1999 - Another WONDERFUL DAY!! Carly savored Jason's kiss. When it ended she looked at him, and
put her hands to her lips. She said, "You kissed me, can we agree on that?" He smiled and said that
they could. She then told him that She then told him that she loved him, that she always had and
that she knew that he loved her too. She said she could tell by the look in his eyes and the way
he smiled at her when she was driving him crazy. She told him she just wanted to come home, could
she please just come home?. Sonny interrupted them at that moment (oh how I hate that man!) and she asked him to excuse them
to finish their conversation. Jason said no, that it was OK and asked Sonny to stay. He offered to
walk Carly to the elevator. Outside, she told him that just because he had not answered her
question, to not this she'd forget about it. He said he knew she wouldn't. She told him to think
about it and she'd ask him again. He said it wasn't like he could stop her and smiled.
AJ found Lila sitting in the living room and kissed her goodnight. After she left, AJ asked how
Bobbie was doing. Carly said she was strong, hurt and upset, but was going to make it. AJ told her
he had been worried about her. She told him it had really helped being there with Bobbie and thanked
him for caring. He told her he was surprised she hadn't bitten his head off. She asked if she was
really that bad and apologized. She told him that he had been really good to her some of the time
and that she really didn't want to fight with him. He told her that he was going to check on
Michael and asked if she'd come to. She told him she was going to be alone for a while and look at
the stars. (Carly
speak for daydream about Jason.)
Musical Montage to Sting's Brand New Day featuring a variety of characters: Sonny, Bobbie, Roy,
Jax, Chloe, Ned, Jason, Slizabitch and a shot of Carly looking to
the stars and kissing the engagement ring Jason gave her. I swear that girl is more obsessed with
those rings than Gollum!
NOVEMBER 24th
1997-
Tony wants to know what Lorraine knows about Carly and he repeats what he heard her say. She tries
to walk away from him but he lets her know he's not leaving until he has the truth. She says she
knows something about his baby & she's been protecting Carly but she can't do it anymore.
Amy brings Carly some juice and she asks Amy if she's seen Tony, he was supposed to take her home.
Bobbie shows Luke the picture of Carly she found. Luke says that the first time he saw Carly he knew
something was up and so he did a little research on her. He had hoped to find something that would
pull Tony away and he had the photo just in case he needed to show it around. Bobbie wants to know
if he found anything but Luke tells her no, her past checked out. Bobbie wonders why he never said
anything to her and he talks his way out of it. Bobbie tells him how at times she thinks Carly can
be sweet and feels like she wants to reach out to her at times. Luke warns her not to go down that
road and she admits she is drawn to her.
Tony asks Carly how she's feeling and she asks him where he was. Tony tells her they need to talk but when she's up to it. Carly lets him know Lorraine called and she knows what he wants to discuss. He wants to know why she lied about the sonogram. Carly tells him she didn't really lie because she didn't have one yet when he had asked but he put the thought in her head and she was afraid he'd try and stop her. Carly says she had a fear that something was wrong with her baby and she didn't want to bother him. Carly apologizes and tells him she doesn't want him to ever feel he has to marry her and she had to prepare herself for single motherhood.
Tony believes she was trying to protect him but doesn't want to be left in the dark.
1999 - JASON CONFESSES! Bobbie explains to Carly that she went to Jerry's and found the
honeymoon tickets and itinerary - they were going to Paris. Bobbie states that she still believes
in Jerry's innocence, and suspects a competitor set him up. To Carly's credit she doesn't spill
the beans about Jerry. Could it be growth? Bobbie gives a typical little Bobbie speech about how
precious love is (no red shoes?!) In amazing Sarah Brown fashion, you can just see Carly's
thoughts turn to Jason's kiss as Bobbie is speaking. They hug, and Carly leaves.
Reminiscent of the day before with Carly, Bobbie looks at her engagement ring thoughtfully
Guilty-Jason arrives at Bobbie's, and tells her he's sorry. He knew about what Jerry was up to,
he saw
the receipts, and he didn't tell her. Bobbie is stricken, realizing the truth of Jerry's guilt.
Bobbie asks if Jason is the one who turned Jerry in, or if he knew Jerry was going to be arrested,
and Jason assures her he did not. He explains that he had given his word not to tell and
apologizes again. Bobbie starts crying and reminds him that he knew about Carly and Michael, too,
and
didn't tell her. "Haven't we been down this road before, Jason?" She wants to know how long had
he known about Jerry? Jason answers five or six months then asks if
there is anything at all he can do for her. HERE WE GO!!! Bobbie says that there is something
Jason can do to make it up to her:
Bobbie "If you love Carly, tell her. I'm not going to pretend to know your heart. But I know Carly.
And I love her. Ask yourself if you want a life with her. And if you do, tell her."
Jason: "I'm not really good at imagining things... But I can't imagine my life without Carly in it." (Everybody
swoon with me!)
Bobbie: "Well, then. No matter how hard it is, the two of you should find a way to be together." Although
Jason's answer was evasive Bobbie knows what it REALLY means. Thanks Bobbie, you're my girl!
Later, Sonny and Jason are in the penthouse when flowers arrive from Mike, trying to bribe
himself a Thanksgiving invitation. Sonny is telling Jason how much he dreads the whole
Thanksgiving dinner thing with Hannah when Carly arrives to speak to Jason. She asks him if he's
sorry (referring to the Earth shattering kiss of course), he says no,
she says she isn't either and departs. When Nosy-Sonny asks Jason "what was that about?"
Psychic-Jason replies "Probably total disaster". You have NO idea how much disaster honey!! No fucking
clue!
Carly is at home with Michael, telling him in a low voice that they'll be "going home to Daddy real
soon". (only in fanfic my darling!) AJ enters, and she covers with some story about how all she meant was that AJ didn't have
much time for them, what with all his business affairs. The nanny comes and takes Michael for his
nap. AJ begins to tell her about vacation plans he is making, but she counters, saying they need to
talk: she isn't happy, and feels they should spend sometime apart. AJ asks what she has in mind -
he hardly sees her as it is - and she explains that she thinks they should separate. AJ doesn't
like the suggestion at all, and Carly explains that he deserves more from a marriage that she is
willing to give to him. AJ states that he's sorry she's unhappy, but this is the life that she
wanted, she's his wife, and "that's the way it's going to be". He threatens her with permanent
loss of Michael and a return to Ferncliff, insisting "You're my wife and that's how it's going to
stay!" "When hell freezes over", Defiant-Carly counters. Happy Anniversary!!
Twas a happy happy day in Jason and Carly land. Scroll on down to This Day in Carly & Jason history for a full
scoop on **the kiss** heard round the world. Definitely a reason to celebrate!

COMMENTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY
Not since the reign of Sarah Brown have I seen such fantastic scene stealing as Robin Christopher this week.
I despised Skye with a passion when she was on OLTL but she literally stole the thunder right out from under
Ingo and Vanessa. I haven't felt so much empathy for a vixen since Sarah's Carly got caught in all her
lies. And Brenda giving Skye a glass of vodka? UNFORGIVEABLE. Jax and Brenda are fuuuuucked! Their quickie reunion is a
surefire sign that they're not the couple Guza wants. I'm placing my bets on Sonny & Brenda. It's great to see Rick Hearst though. I've loved him
since he was Alan Michael Spaulding on Guiding Light. Finally Tony Geary has a sparring partner worth his time. Lane
Davies is fabo as Cameron, finally a new character that well has character.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SUBTEXT, BABY
I'm going to say the words I never in a million years thought would ever come out of my mouth: I love Bob Guza! Finally
a writer who isn't so scared of shattering the illusion of Sonny & Carly's 'great love' by denying she ever loved
Jason. I was so excited after the conversation on the plane...then BAM...jail! BAM...the boat! BAM...the docks! BAM...the
hallway! BAM...the park! BAM...Luke's! I would have been blissfully happy after last week's J/C stuff but another
week of them? To quote Tony Jones: "these aren't isolated incidents they are wall to wall." I'm remembering
when Guza came back in 97 and Carly who hadn't even mentioned Jason in months was suddenly screaming at Tony
to take her to the hospital to check on him after the shootout at Luke's. Could this be history repeating itself?
I don't know....but I can hope!
THIS WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL DAY IN CARLY & JASON HISTORY
1999 - Carly practically runs to the Penthouse to tell Jason about Jerry getting arrested in the middle of
his wedding to Bobbie. One of the unique and really wonderful aspects of the J/C relationship was how they
always talked about everything. Jason always knew the little details of Carly's life. By this time
Jason is already carrying a gigantic load of guilt for not spilling the beans on Jerry and seeing Carly's
anguish over the matter doesn't make him feel much better.
Carly: "He swears he's innocent. And I don't think he's.."
Jason: "He's not. He's not innocent."
Carly is blown away by Jason's admission. First that Jerry was lying but then that Jason was. So nice
to see Jason being the one apologizing to Carly for a change.
"Jason, why? How could you do something like that?" Carly is unbelieving that Jason would ever intentionally
hurt Bobbie and her. Then in typical Carly fashion, she gets mad. "So all those times when I sat there and told you that I didn't trust him - you knew. Jason, you looked my mother in the eyes, gave her some stupid china, and told her you wanted her to be happy?"
"I do want Bobbie to be happy." When Carly questions him why, Jason gives his patent answer. "I gave Sonny my word." It's
always Sonny.
"What does Sonny have to do with my mother, Jason? My mother. She loves you, man. She loves you. She believes in you to a point where she testified against me..for you!" Some
of Carly's grand visions of Jason's perfection seem to be faltering a bit in this scene. But have no fear...not for long!
Now it's Jason's turn to go on the defensive. "Carly, I gave my word!"
"Oh, that's great, Jason! I love that!" She responds angrily. When he turns around she follows and
starts yelling. ""You gave your word! "You ruined my mother's life, because you gave your word?"
"Bobbie wouldn't do that to you." She pauses and says softly. "Neither would I."
"You can't- You can't have it both ways. I kept your secret, about Michael. That hurt Bobbie, it hurt Michael. It hurt a lot of other people." Jason tries
to make her understand.
"Yeah, but it's not even the same thing." Carly counters.
"Why isn't it? Because it helped you?" Good one Jase. "I keep my word whether it helps you or not."
Always the insecure one, Carly takes this as an insult. "You don't trust me at all, do you?" Jason
throws her a sexy! look that lets her know that isn't true. "You could have told me."
"I wanted to tell you." Swoon! Jason takes a seat on the couch. "When I bought that china, I kept thinking what to do. What to say, what not to say. So many things were going through my mind. Nothing was making any sense to me. I wanted to stop the wedding." Guilt tripping
Jason continues. "Nobody has been nicer to me than Bobbie. She deserved to know the truth. And I didn't tell her. Now, if that..If that's wrong...then what happened to Bobbie is my fault." Awww Jason we don't
hold it against you!! Jason looks yp at Carly who's sitting across from him "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry."
Carly takes his hands. "No, no, no, no. You know what?" He looks up at her and she smiles. "I am."
Long moment of intense staring going on here. And a commercial break.
Sweet Carly: "I can't tear you up for- For doing the thing I respect the most about you. You keep your word. It's all I have to depend on."
Remoseful Jason looks at her. "I wanted to tell you a lot of times."
Sympathetic Carly. "It must have been really hard for you."
Noble Jason says "Look, Bobbie got hurt here. I didn't."
Then Guilty Carly jumps in.
"But you have been. A lot, by me, more than anyone. And it never matters. I mean, you always...you always keep my secrets." She smiles
at him. "And it makes me feel sort of...valuable to you."
Loving?Jason seems confused as if he doesnt understand how she could ever doubt her value to him. And we wonder
as well. "Valuable? You need me to say that you're valuable?" He always knows what she needs. "Because you know you are." Sincere
Jason says bending his head to catch her eyes. I'm still swooning three years later. Lucky bitch.
"When they arrested Jerry, Jason, all I could think about was that it could be you.
And what would I do? What would I do? Beat them up? Break into jail and get you out? Bribe somebody, anybody?" Tearful
Carly turns serious and places her hands on her heart. "I would do anything."
"I know." I know that I can count on you, even though you drive me crazy." Intense Jason looks in her
eyes and you can see Carly mentally rejoicing. Well wouldn't you?
"I don't mean to drive you crazy."
"Yes you do." Passionate Jason responds and pulls her in for a kiss...YES! YES! YES! I have included
visual aids since no words could ever describe it.

NOVEMBER 21, 2002
The great mystery of the disappearing ABC fan fantasy polls has been solved! Thanks to Linda over
at Jason & Carly Fanfic for
giving me the heads up on this. Okay here goes...if Vanessa Marcil stays after six months we might
have a shot at J/C but otherwise it's a major improbability. SO...GO VOTE. GO. VOTE. NOW. You know
that all those fanatic Jiz fans that bombard ABC and the Soap rags have already voted. And I don't
think my eyes would ever recover from Jason/Liz sex (well yes they would cause I wouldn't watch) but my
mind never would! If you're like me and you have about five different email addresses I encourage you
to use them all to vote. Here's the link...Fan Fantasy Episode Voting Poll
TIDBITS
If you're reading this and you HAVEN'T voted - shame on you! Otherwise...Begin Shamless Plug: Crissy
over at Crissilla's Cosmic Corner has posted redone her Jason and
Carly galleries and they're really great! Take a look. End Shamless Plug. Also I ran across this tribute to J/C
over at SoapZone and thought it was fabo: Deliver Me
Anybody else see Steve on the Taken Special last night? There was quite a few clips of him and some
interviews. The miniseries is comprised of ten 2 hour parts. Steve only appears in the first three parts because
it spans a time of fifty years and his sequence is the World War II era. He is aged in the series and I'm looking
forward to seeing him in old man makeup. My favorite quote "I don't have any tumors..." LOL
And finally...my apologies to everyone who's been getting the high traffic messages when trying to visit this site.
I'm working on getting Making Almost Count moved to it's own domain to avoid bandwidth problems in the future. But
unfortunately defending America's freedom isn't a very lucrative business to be in, so it may take some time. Please
be patient. Thanks and have a FANTASTIC thursday.
THIS DAY IN CARLY & JASON HISTORY
1997 - No Jason on this one...but a fantastic episode all around!! Luke visits Carly in the hospital after her aborted (thank God!) wedding to Tony. He warns
her that Bobbie is starting to sympathize with her and he won't allow Bobbie to believe that she's
"a human being". When Carly tries to defend herself, Luke warns her that she lost any opportunity she had
with Bobbie by "man-grabbing" Tony. "I don't remember sending out an SOS for you!" Carly yells at him as
she throws the flowers he brought her at the door. "I can't save you, baby. Swim or die. Caroline that
life raft floated by a long time ago and you chose not to jump on board. You chose to be a motherless child
and you got your wish. Now live with it!" Carly counters by reminding Luke that he doesnt care about her, all
he cares about is Bobbie not finding out that he lied to her. "Honey right now I'm functioning under a
very unselfish thought. Yeah you know you live long enough even you might experience an unselfish thought. There
was a time when Bobbie wanted nothing more than to know the daughter she was forced to give up." Carly rolls
her eyes. "But that ain't you Caroline, that ain't you anymore. See this man grabbing.. psycho, lying creation is all you,
baby it's all you. See I'd rather Bobbie grieve over the daughter she lost than to grieve over finding you."
Meanwhile Tony catches Lorraine and Carly plotting on the phone to keep a secret from him. Tony confronts Lorraine who stands her ground. "You're lying, Lorraine and I think that's why you're so important to Carly right now." Since he was still being portrayed as a decent person back then, AJ informs Carly that
he will hold off on the paternity issue until after the baby is born due to Carly's recent health complications. "Do you ever wonder what it's like to be born?" He asks her. "Did you ever wish you could remember? The noise, the light, the first breath. It must feel like dying and drowning. There has to be pain. And I figure the only thing that has to be worse is having no one there who wants to see you, and hold you, and tell you your name. And I don't want that for your baby, Carly." Carly is moved to tears by AJ's words in light of her recent conversation with Bobbie. And in the Friday cliffhanger...Bobbie is shocked when she discovers a picture of Carly in Luke's safe. Day three of the mysterious disapearance of the ABC fan fantasy episode polls. This is starting to sound
like an X-File. Although since it is GH we're dealing with, my guess is they were kidnapped by Alcazar, Larkin,
Sorel, Faison, or Zander. Notice a theme here?
Remember the ABC soap "Definitely" promos? Fellow crusader of CarlyandJasonism Crissy has her own take
on them and has graciously shared them with us. Definitely Funny
I am proud to announce that links to this site have been added on both Sarah Brown Online and The Hotzone. I feel
so honored. I've also registered Making Almost Count with CJB.net as www.jasoncarly.cjb.net
TODAY IN CARLY & JASON HISTORY
1996 - After Luke busts Carly on her true identity, she spends some time hiding out in Jason's room. Oh the missed opportunities!!
Carly confronts her darling Uncle Luke and announces that she won't be "hopping a freight train or a broomstick"
and is staying in Port Charles. Well of course...she has to fall in love with her soulmate Jason before she can leave! Not
to mention Sarah was on contract.
Have a wonderful wednesday!
NOVEMBER 19, 2002
Tuesday! Well still no sign of the fan fantasy polls over at ABC. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if
they were planning on just airing their fantasy scenes. We should sue for false advertising. I would like tell you how much I appreciate all the letters I've been getting about Possession. To show
my thanks...I have posted chapter eight. Enjoy!

SOULMATES?
Ever wonder how compatible you and Steve Burton would be in real life? Take a compatibility test!
I took it and me and Steve were only 49% compatible. DAMMIT! The only other GH star I saw on this list was Michael Saucedo (ex Juan)
and I am ecstatic to report that we were only 9% compatible. THANK GOD!! If you go there be sure to ask
for your "most" compatible matches. They're hilarious, but you won't like what you see, mine were one of the Hanson freaks and
Casey Affleck. (Why NOT Ben?!?) Although I am happy to report that David Duchovny and I were 99% intellectually
compatible!
TODAY IN CARLY & JASON HISTORY
1998 - Unable to deal with Carly's presence in the cottage, Robin heads to Rome. (And she calls Carly a manipulator?) Eager to appease his
master, Jason asks Carly to move out before she returns. Carly agrees to move if that's what Jason wants.
Jason tells her that she and Michael leaving is the last thing he wants. Aaawwwwwww!
1999 - While helping her prepare for her wedding to Jerry, Carly gives Bobbie something borrowed, blue, old, and new. And
Bobbie encourages her that if she and Jason are meant to be together they will find their way back to each other. Go Bobbie! Meanwhile
Jason struggles with concealing the truth about Jerry's criminal activity from Bobbie. He tells Sonny
that he kept Carly's lie from her but he doesn't think it is right to keep Jerry's. Hmmm...ever wonder
why Jason the Port Charles Patron Saint of Truth never seems to mind lying for Carly? I think I can guess!
Have a great day everybody! See ya tomorrow! Peace.
NOVEMBER 18, 2002
VINDICATION Well I must have really good timing because there hasn't been this much reason for Jason & Carly
fans to celebrate since 1999! For three long years the writers have been shoving the insipid Sonny/Carly
pairing down our throats and telling us that Jason and Carly never loved each other as more than friends. but
we saavy J/C fans refused to believe the lie. And now we
have confirmation! Let's all give a round of applause to Bob Guza for admitting to us
onscreen THREE times in the last week that at one time Jason and Carly did love each other more than anything. Thanks Bob
for honoring the story YOU wrote! I am so giddy right now I want to go dancing in the streets! I think
I have already raved about the bost scene but now the docks scene too!!
Courtney: Can I help?
Jason: I dont...I don't think so.
Courtney: Okay
Jason: I mean...I know you can love someone who's bad for you. You can miss them and
want to be with them even when you know it will never happen. But why would you go back? Why would
you choose to be with someone who ruined your life when you know they're going to do it again?
I thought my ears were decieving me at first. Surely the hack writers of GH weren't going to give
us lowly J/C fans even an ounce of our dignity back. Then I rewound and rewound and then rewound again. Yes Jason admitted that he still loved Carly and wanted to be with her
even though he knows he can't. Can I get a collective sigh out there? That definitely makes my list of top
five Jason & Carly quotes of all time.
VOTE
The polls on the fan fantasy episode were supposed to open today but they didn't. I will be sure to
let you know when they do and nag you every chance I get to go vote
In the meantime, Netscape did a poll on Soap vixens and Sarah Brown made the list! Along with
Heather Locklear, Joan Collins, Susan Lucci, and a few others. The polls are closed but they have a cool
tribute to her. Sarah came in second, after Heather Locklear. Check it out
BIRD OF PREY
Check out a fantastic article on Sarah's appearance on Birds of Prey. Brought

Sonny cooks breakfast in the kitchen, but that's nothing compared to what Jason and Carly have cooking in the next room! A new chapter of Possession
has been added. I'd like to say thanks for all the great letters I've been getting about Possession. Your support is
very appreciated!
I've won two awards! Eva at The Sarah Brown Fan Page has named Making Almost Count the website of the week for November
17th.
She also named me as Best of the Web. Thanks Eva your support is greatly appreciated! Help me thank her by paying a visit
to her own marvelous site. Sarah Brown Fan Page
Join the campaign!! The webmaster at Jason & Carly Fanfic has asked us all to vote in the upcoming fantasy scene
episode. ABC is taking votes on it's official site for "fan fantasy scenes" that will air in a special episode of General Hospital. If we all vote we
may finally get to see our payoff. For more information...Campaign for Closure!
THE BOAT
Carly: "You know what? You are hot. You are, and you are so much nicer than Sonny, and you're more patient.
And you know what? You're really good in bed. You remember the first time that -- that -- that we made
love? Do you? We didn't know each other's names. Know what? First time I saw you without your shirt on, I thought I was going to pass out because you're hot."

Carly: "Whoo! Queen of the world!! Whoo!! Come on, you're having fun, admit it, just a little bit.
Fun. You know what? You want to know something? None of your other little goody-goody girlie friends would've been able to drink that guy under the table.
You know what you remind me of? You remind me of one of those Roman statues -- you know, I mean, not the one with the togas. I don't know, maybe you do. I've never seen you in a toga. Can you -- I have not -- you remind me of one of those naked ones -- " "Carly --" "With the bulging muscles and.. What? Can you just not admit that sex with me was the best you've ever had?"
