CRYSTAL FEELINGS

Whispering voices in the night are calling your name
Now my dreams defy the dark and will I ever be the same
For you touched my hand and my heart did spin around
Who are you to have awaken the feelings I have found
Will you always be around or fade in the blink of an eye
And will these feelings last or shrivel up and die
I fear that loneliness may cause us to move too fast
Or the love we are building is not strong enough to last
And if I let my pounding heart simply rush ahead
Will we then look back on our relationship with dread
When an eternity of happiness I might find with you
If my prayers are answered time will prove our love is true
Are you the future that will help my feelings expand
Can I trust you for you hold my heart in your hand
If it's true then all the tomorrows that are yet to be
Are truly magical moments waiting for you and me

STUDENT OF LIFE

I'm traveling on the road to wisdom
Embracing what I have not known
For I am no stranger to ignorance
Its the knowledge I've yet to own
A gale of ideas brewing inside my mind
A storm of enlightenment I hope to find
But so far intelligence has eluded me
My thoughts only grasp what I can see
Blind to an unseen world of information
A confused traveler searching for its location
A student of life grasping for the unknown
Hopping to discover knowledge of my own

BIRTHDAY WISH

This special birthday wish I wish for you.
That you remember all the good things to do.
For precious are the years that have gone by.
They can't be relived no matter what we try.
Memories of friends we've left behind.
And faces of new ones we've yet to find.
Blend pleasantly the passing of time.
So say the words of the poets rhyme.
No time is forgotten only misplaced.
Memories are preserved not erased.
Time stored for when we feel like reflecting.
For it is the past we end up neglecting.
So enjoy life and the memories we are collecting.

FRIENDSHIP LOST?

River of dreams wash away all my thoughts of pain.
Let not the hollow empty memories drive me insane.
Never a moments peace that I might find rest.
I wonder am I failing life's ultimate test.
I can offer my thoughts my friendship my hand.
So never alone will my friends have to stand.
If only I knew how to let them inside of me.
Maybe I would have a friend as well as the friend I be.
One cant pick their family their fate or their end.
So It is not lightly one should choose a friend.
Give what you will and hope that they do the same.
Pray that to them friendship is more than a game.
Offer time and understanding then hope they can see.
Beyond the illusion and find peace and harmony.
Fear not that all do not feel the same as I.
It is a lifetime's journey that I must try.
I wish is to find special people to enrich my life.
Not intrude where unwanted I offer my back to a knife.
The best gifts are given so we never have to ask.
And to survive without friendship a most difficult task.
In friendship I search out the different, special and unique.
Forgive me for I thought this too did you also seek.
Judge me not by my actions but by my willful needs.
So trust in friendship and follow where it leads.

PHONE CONFIDENT

He will hear my worries and shear my pain
Then tell me how to turn a loss into a gain
He may lift my spirits when I shed a tear
Or make me laugh at the darkness behind my fear
Engage in conversation to be intellectually fulfilled
Curb my anger so no blood will be spilled
Verbally caressed to inspire my passion and lust
Invoke a fantasy I think to win my trust
Temptation and torture are also part of his charm
Though challenging I think he means me no harm
All but his mind and voice is subject to my will
A stranger who truly seems to care how I feel
There when I want to my needs he will attend
My phone confident and imaginary friend

DISK JOCKEY

Its night and I melt into bed.
With all life's worries in my head.
But they wont be there long.
Because you're at my side where you belong.
Your voice is magic to me.
And oh so soothing it can be.
Your music's the lullaby that puts me to sleep.
So I can float so deep.
It molds my imagination and shapes my dreams.
And oh so real it all seems.
But you control my night.
You can submerge me in darkness or light.
My heart beets with rock and roll.
And the records spin at your control.
The true dream weaver you must be.
And your magic few people see.
Your power is your voice and the music you play.
But that's your job you're the D.J.

PRAY TELL ME

Please will you ever hear my prayers
I need proof that someone cares
Now I'm alone there is no one around
Pray tell me where love can be found
Do I just wait for it to come my way
Is it a waiting game we all must play
And will standing still be to great a chance
That I might be passed up by romance
Or do I ride the winds of change
To see what I might be able to arrange
And gamble my love finds a caring heart
Not someone who will use me then depart
Does true love come from the heart, mind or soul
I know without it my life's not whole
So don't tell me love comes from within
I need the love and understanding of a close true friend
