Philippine Su Kuang Institute Wushu Team

 In 1998 under the initiation of Chinese Language superintendent Mrs. Juana Uy  Y 黄玉珍老師 and School Principal Mrs. Phoa A Hon Sia 潘綺英校長, the school invited Arnold Buenviaje shifu to choreograph Wushu performances for exhibition during Christmas Program and Graduation rites. This became a permanent activities thus eventually creating the Su Kuang Institute Wushu Team. The group are composed of grade school students and alumni of Su Kuang who are training under the Qixing Tanglang Quan style system.        

Philippine Su Kuang Institute 菲律賓曙光學校 was founded in 1934, formerly name Philippine Chinese Republican School, it was initially situated in Nueva street, but later transferred to its present site in 1019 Guillermo Masangkay street, Binondo, Manila.

Mrs. Juana Uy Y more fondly called Mrs. Y passed away in 2003. This site is dedicated in her memory.
