got dropped for the game between Canbera on Saturday Night. In a beautiful
night for soccer South Melbourne looked in control of the game from the
start of the game with Andrew Vlahos causing the Canberra defense
heaps of problems. South Melbourne hit the lead in the 20th minute
with a great ball from SUSA which Vaughn Covey the horse got onto and put
it away. 1-0 to Hellas. John Angelucci had 1 great chance for the Cosmos
with an open goal to shoot at he blasted the ball and it hit the cross
bar and went out for a goal kick. Halftime and scores 1-0. In the second
half Ton Sermanis men improved dramtically and coped a second goal curtosity
of a Paul Trimboli tap in. Tom Sermani had to change something and he did.
He put on the Newzelander and he scored straight after coming on. Mickey
Peterson took of Vaughn Coveny and replaced him with Vas Kalecargos. Vas
missed a siter which should of been in the back of the net for him. Then
as the game got into the later stages Andy Vlahos came of and Goran Lozanovski
replaced and he scored the winning goal to make it 3-1 and to tell
the people how good the Cosmos are..........
