KNIGHTS AND BLUES PUNCHING ON!!!!!
from the age
Players from both sides were lucky to escape punishment last night when the annual Laurie
Schwab memorial match between Melbourne Knights and Carlton erupted into violence.

The heated clash occurred when the Knights were awarded a match-winning penalty nine
  minutes from the end.

Carlton defender Craig Deans chopped Joel Porter in the penalty box which caused all the Melbourne Knights players to go crazy. Well it was a big mess in the Carltons defensive box.
With fists flying from every angle. It was very dissapointing to see a charity match (freindly match) to turn ugly. Brothers Rody and Andy were lucky to escape with nothing with Andy  throwing fists. I thought that Andrew Marth should have been shown his marching orders with him the main instigater aswell as Craig Deans.
