KNIGHTS STAR OFF ON A BANG
By Burim Sulemani

7' ~ Knights have the better of play and possession from the
               opening whistle without any success

Both teams have settled and are playing end to end football

Sulemani forces Brisbane's keeper into a fingertip save.

        20' ~ Scores still locked 0:0.

Porter and Sulemani are terrorising Brisbane's defence. Porter almost
        almost through again

41' ~ Knights score through Andy Vargas from a well taken free
kick just outside the penalty area. Not a bad way to debut for the

                      club!
44' ~ Porter, still mesmerising Brisbane, is brought down and
another Brisbane player picks up a yellow card.

                      Half time: Knights lead 1:0

Better players for the Knights include an ever-dangerous Joel
Porter, a rock-solid Rody Vargas and a busy Alex Kiratzoglou.
"Jezza" Sulemani, making his NSL debut, has also done well.

No change to either side after half time.

Neither side is able to assert themselves in the opening 10 minutes
                      of the second half.

59' ~ Brisbane equalise from a corner at the near post.

Brisbane's confidence rises. The young Knights, playing tonight
without Da Costa, Nastevski, Banini and Cervinksi, have a
                      challenge on their hands.

69' ~ Ball lobbed over Brisbane's defence and Sulemani uses his
blistering pace to get to the ball before the keeper. He rounds him
comfortably and scores in his NSL debut. Congratulations "Jezza".

against the Strikers who are desparate for a late equaliser.
