Radiohead links

In the huge world called The Internet, Radiohead are one of the most cyber-celebrated bands, having literally hundreds of sites dedicated to them - the one you're visiting right now being just a tiny drop in the ocean. This page will link you to some of the most important of those sites, and from there you will find links to the rest.

official

There is nothing more 'official' than the band's own website, one would assume... but Radiohead, as we all know, are not just like any band. In the same vein, their official website is not just like any official band website! And it's quite obvious from its very title. Yes, you will find stuff to buy - from the band's albums to every w.a.s.t.e. garment imaginable - but this is just about the only conventional feature. I'm not going to tell you what to check out, because the point is to get lost in there and end up seeing everything. Oh, and avoid the message board: unless there actually is a band member or some other important figure, like Stanley D., or Max K (the man with the news!), it's hell. Journalists think that their job is to (righteously) moan about everything. In Radiohead's case, they moaned - among other things - about the band's supposedly aloof demeanour towards them. So the band decided to implement their own lyric that goes like 'You want me? Well, fuckin' well come and find me': they made a special site where journos can go and find them. Only it's not as easy as it looks - the band only answer selected questions that seem more interesting to them. Which pisses the unanswered journos off, and they start moaning all over again. Cool, innit? Other than that, the questions & answers can be read by anyone, which is nice, as there've been really interesting things asked. Check it out!

fanclubs, communities, groups etc

Unsurprising as it may be, I'll start by (plugging) the club of which I am a member! Of course, the only ones that can actually understand what's going on there are the people who happen to be able to read and understand greek - i.e. not everyone. But it's worth visiting even for those who can't read it, as the site layout - courtesy of Sotiris K. - is really, really amazing, with loads of cute, animated things all over the place. For the greeks who haven't registered: what are you doing here, people? Go subscribe now! It's free! The French fanclub and the dad of all fanclubs. Took its name from the infamous T-shirt Thom can be seen wearing in that infamous photo from a festival ages ago. This is a really seminal site. They have loads of exclusive stuff (due to a very active French representative) and extremely up-to-date news. And cool, clever layout. A classic.
