Disclaimer : By writing this page, I am not trying to defend men of their faults or deny anything. This page is created solely for the purpose of creating another viewpoint from those guys who have at least tried to change for the better and bless them for at least trying!

While searching for things to write on the World Wide Web for my website, I stumbled upon a website called Heartless Bitches International (HBI). The website groups a group of women who feels men have been treating women like dirt and want to air their grievances on the World Wide Web. While I was able to empathize with them, I felt that some of their view were over-radical and only presented a one-sided view of the whole situation.

While it is true that we men have a lot of faults (Sorry guys but we have to admit it), I couldn't help but to think wouldn't it be better if women can point out these faults to us and tell us to change without having to unleash our tempers at each other. While it's true that I cannot speak for all the guys but some men do make an effort to change if given the apportunity. For the sake of these men, would it be too much to ask women to give us the benefit of doubt before condemning us to be beyond hope?

It would be just too easy to condemn men to be hopeless without giving them any apportunity to change. But think of this : By condeming them, would women think that they can eliminate the negative effects of men's faults on their lives? Man was created for a purpose to have a male and female sex. It takes a man and a woman to create a lifeform. It takes a man and woman to love each other the normal way. Since we have to live with together, wouldn't it be much better to find a solution rather than be at each other's throats?

But I do have to admit that it will take a long time for men to eliminate their faults and I am sure many a woman would be frustrated at the amount of effort that they have to put in and the stress they have to go through. But think of this : Rome wasn't built on one day. Some of the thoughts and negative thinkings of men have been with together with us for centuries, it will take us sometime before the fault can be eliminated.

For example, I am sure that a lot of women are frustrated that after a long day at work, they would still need to singlehandedly prepare dinner while their husbands watch baseball or soccer on TV. Men take it for granted that preparing dinner is women's work whether they work or not and all men have to do is open their mouths to eat. This kind of thinking have been with men for a long time and it is not too long ago that women have to shoulder additional responsibilities does this situation acutely rears up its ugly head. A lot of guys I know would not mind cooking for half of the time if only the family dare to eat their almost inedible cooking and I am sure, if given time, their cooking can be vastly improved if not become at least edible. If you all do not believe me let me tell you one thing. Nowadays after my mom has started going out to work, my dad has been the one doing the cooking all the time on top of his work. I can see that he doesn't mind cooking all the time and if my dad can do it, I am sure there are other guys who can do the same.

In conclusion, we men have a long way to go to correct all our faults and negative thinking but it certainly at least help some of us who are trying to change for the better if women were to be a bit more understanding and help us along the way.
