A HISTORIE OF THE WILD KNIGHTS

"Inside the table's circle,
Under the sacred sword.
A knight must vow to follow
The code that is unending,
Unending as the table
A ring by honour bound.
A knight is sworn to valor.
His heart knows only virtue.
His blade defends the helpless.
His might upholds the weak.
His words speak only truth.
His wrath undoes the wicked!
The right can never die,
If one man still recalls.
The words are not forgotten,
If one voice speaks them clear.
The code forever shines,
If one heart hold it bright."
-THE OLD CODE

REALM OF LOGRES AFTER THE POST-ARTHUR ERA

The Round Table. It was a time of myths and legends where the forces of Good like King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table battle against the forces of Evil led by Queen Morgana Le Fay and her band of Death Knights and mixture of goblin, troll and ogre army.

After the fall of the realm of Logres and the death of King Arthur, the surviving Knights of the Round Table were dispersed as their single unifying symbol - King Arthur was dead.

BREAKING UP OF THE ROUND TABLE

Most of the Knights, bound by the strict code of honour, remained at the Round Table to do good deeds in her name. Historians named this order as the Order of the World Table to differentiate it from the previous Round Table led by King Arthur. Those who had followed Sir Mordred and failed to live up to the high code of honour the Knights had sworn to, manifested themselves as Death Knights. They are evil, corrupted by the dark forces, but their fierce pride means that their spirit can never find rest. Another small group of Knights, disillusioned by the fighting and the peasants' refusal to help in the wars against Sir Mordred, retreated into the wild lands and forests. They pledged themselves to the protection of Mother Nature, rather than to fickle Man, after foretelling that the Great Lady herself would one day require a militant order to defend her. Later historians named this order as the Order of the Wild Knights

OTHER KNIGHTS' PERCEPTIONS OF THE WILD KNIGHTS

A suborder of the main order of the Knights, the Wild Knights are not regarded as true Knights by some of their own peers. In a way, this prejudice can be attributed by their refusal to stick closely to the code of chivalry, which has been long associated with Knights.

CHARACTER OF THE WILD KNIGHTS

Completely unpredictable, Wild Knights can be sweet and chivalrous in one moment and spiteful and cold on another. This is perhaps due to their wild nature and is one of the main reasons why they would not stick close to the chivalry code. They are best described as wild imps clothed in armour, good-natured but yet so prone to mood swings.

THE ARTS OF WIZARDRY IN THE TRAINING OF WILD KNIGHTS

Though not as powerful physically as the normal Knights, they make up for their deficiencies by practicing wizardry. The colleges of wizardry they practice varies widely from the four Elemental Colleges, Colleges of Life and Death to the College of Essential Mind and the College of Motivating Mechanics of the Universe.

THEIR COMMON LOVE

Although so different from one another they share one common love amongst themselves, Mother Nature. Therefore, it is not surprising that the first code of the Wild Knights is to protect Nature and not their respective loves. They are sworn to protect their own respecitive glades and it seems that they are fighting a losing battle as more and more forests are being destroyed for civilisation.
